  1. Hey everyone. Just curious if there was any information on the actual heights of Supreme boats on their trailers? Asking more for garage clearance heights than anything else. I've been checking out the S211 and S21 and wanted to know if they'd fit in a garage with the tower down.
  2. Looks great! You get your ballast squared away?
  3. Ballast help 2007 Elite V C4

Each rear locker on your boat can fit a 750 pound bag.
  4. Hey everyone, I wanted to share some photos of the Westland cover I got for my 2005 Lightning C4. I would've loved to have spent a pretty penny in getting a sewlong cover or some really fancy cover, but my wallet preferred going with Westland more! Long story short, I scored a great deal on the Westland cover on iBoats.com and purchased the cover that fit my model with the X-Treme Tower and covered the swim platform. I elected to go with the Sharkskin Premium fabric since it had a 7 year warranty and was supposed to be really good. Installing the cover was about as straight forward as you can get, but I must say, that thing was TIGHT! I hope it stretches, because the back right corner where the cover meets the swim platform barely makes it over. No need for anti-pooling poles. I used the supplied buckles and cinch straps. The cover comes well built and has two vents just past the front windshield. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Overall thoughts - I'm very happy with the cover, considering the price I paid and what I got. I don't know how it'll hold up, how it'll handle highway speeds, or how it vents moisture. Only time will tell.
  5. @Zheld5 - I am! Only two downsides: 1. I feel like their template could be an extra inch longer because the cover is a PITA to fully cover my swim platform. Not the end of the world, but it requires extra effort. 2. I had a strap tear, and Westland offered to reimburse me if I got it repaired by a shop, but I did it on my own. Overall, I'm really happy with it. For the money, it does what it's supposed to well.
  6. I'd look into replacing your IAC valve. My boat idled rough and stalled when I bought it. IAC valve solved it.
  7. @rhino89523 let's see that goofy wave!
  8. You could probably do all the mods you want to your boat with the money you will spend on sales taxes buying a new boat. I say keep it and make it the best avalanche you can. Why? timeless look. no screens. No problems. additional pumps and setup can be done for not a lot of money. same for stereo. you can add seadek proven hull and layout cost to use ratio seems off. If you used it a lot, newer boat conveniences are nice, but for the number of times you use it, that's a lot of money. I love my 2005 Lightning C4 when I am 225 pounds and have plenty of push on my goofy wave. Spend the time to dial in your wave and you will be thoroughly impressed. You're boat puts out a better wave than mine!

All these setups and no pics!
  10. Wake Shaper

Welcome Toothdoc - I have a 2005 Lightning C4. If your boat has the hard tanks in the rear, they will need to be swapped out with 750lb bags. I also HIGHLY recommend you get a wakeshaper. I have the Ronix wedge and it rocks. Fill your center ballast, put a couple people on the backseat and you'll be golden. I ride goofy at 11.5-12mph with plenty of push... Mind you I'm 6'3" and 225lbs on a 4'8" Ronix board, so that says a lot. boards are important too, but your foundation should be a solid wave. Also, water depth is critical. I've found over 15ft deep yields a kick butt wave. Check out my instagram for pics: @casey_cotton
  11. Have you taken it to a dealer for troubleshooting?
  12. Wakesurf Edge Pro vs Ronix Eight.3

@SaltCitySurfer what's your ballast setup with the shaper. You have pics/vids of your regular and goofy waves? I have the regular ronix and have been happy with it. Not a fan of the Velcro, but it's worn on me to where I don't really care anymore.
  13. I'm sure other avalanche owners will chime in, but I think that's ample. You could do that setup on each side and use a wake shaper. Additionally, you can always upgrade your pump to a higher gph to save a little time. They're not that much money.
  14. Centurion Elite Diesel

That's such a cool setup. Pretty ideal for surfing.
  15. Elite c4 surf and value?

This has a different hill and slightly different interior layout. Based on a comparison between the blue Elite-V and red Elite, the blue one is in much better condition and will likely put out a better wave due to hull shape.
  16. Our new 2013 Sv233

    Love that color combo. Congrats!
  17. Elite c4 surf and value?

There has to be some wiggle room in that price. There always is! And if they don't budge, have them throw in the bags and PP.
  18. Elite c4 surf and value?

Seems like a really clean Elite-V! For its age, it looks like it's in incredible condition. Those are super low hours. I would ensure it's been mechanically gone through. The Elite-V and Lightning C4 are identical. I run roughly 2,000lbs of ballast in mine & the ronix shaper.. puts out a great wave on both sides... more than enough to go ropeless for my 230lb body with just my wife in the boat. I have the 750lb Fly-High bags in the lockers and will tuck another bag under the seat on the surf side I would say they're fantastic boats for the money. They're long & big enough where you're not stretched for storage. It also has the black scorpion and a great tower. Perfectpass will be the best thing you did, especially if you're surfing. Perhaps my favorite thing with the Centurions of the mid-2000s is the fully gel coated floors. All the other manufacturers followed after what Centurion did. My prior non-inboard had it and was the best feature. Now, I'm trying to get rid of my snap-in carpet and go full SeaDek or GatorStep. As far as price goes, I'd beat them up a little more considering you're coming up on the off-season, or have them throw in bags and perfect pass. Stereos are stereos.. they're not big selling items as much as a rear wake/trim plate and fully automated ballast would be in my mind. But... I'm more of a function vs. audio guy. Plugs, wires, impeller and fresh oil change are definitely things you should ensure are done along with a compression test and some hours of the boat running to ensure no bad fuel. The Avalanche C4s are great too, but budget is important. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. I have some video of both of my surf waves.
  19. I live in good ol' muggy Florida. If I cover and put my boat away with any type of moisture in it, I remove the seats. Had to clean them up before. Now, I remove the carpet and have a better (more flowing) cover. I hope to do aquatraction or GatorStep in the near future to take care of my wet carpet issue.
  20. I run the same setup, except the part with 4 people! I think that extra bit of weight makes all the difference on our models. I need a ballast bag that can go on that seat to replace those people.
  21. What's your goofy ballast setup?
  22. I will let you know. It's been raining here for the last week and the cover seems to be great. In terms of transporting, I can't yet speak to it, but am told it'll do just fine.

  24. I'd love try one to see if it's any better than my Ronix shaper
