How far are you from Kelowna BC wizard lake marine has a 07 Enzo 216 for i think $38000.00 Can so $29000.00 US check it out on there website
  2. i have a friend loking at a 2004 supreme v230 does anyone have experience with this hull does it surf well
  3. That is good to here I figured it would need weight being a 2004 but some old hulls no matter how much weight you put in them just don't throw a good wave or lack push this discussion will definitely help him make a decision
  4. anyone know or have any experience with this boat a friend is considering buying one we do not see many of them up here does it produce a wake that is surfable do you have to do lots of mods is it similar to a certain centurion hull
  5. i dont know if i would believe that sounds alot like a damage control statement to me arsenic and lead can cause serious health effects even with low exposure and i agree with stretch it is likely they are down playing the amount spilled probably 3 times what they estimate or more
  6. translated huge markup and not selling
  7. acme props

i am currently running a acme 1235 14.5x14.25 i am thinking of trying a 1433 14x14.25 i do not have a lot of clearance between the hull of my boat with the 1235 which makes me nervous only about a 1/2 inch and in rough water i get some prop cavitation at surf speed loaded 2000lbs any one have experience with these props and what differences can i expect
  8. acme props

i would be happy if i had 5/8 inch clearance i have maybe 1/2 inch with the 1235 prop which is 14.5 x 14.25 and you definately will need the 1579 if you want decent power out of the hole and are using any amount of ballast i recently got the 1617 which is 14x13.75 which will give me more clearance and more botoom end i will lose some top end speed but that does not concern me my dealer told me if you can put your fingers inbetween the tip of the prop blades and the hull your clearance is satisfactory now i know peoples fingers are not all the same size but for me that would be roughly 5/8 of an inch
  9. August 2015 pic and video thread

this past weekend on slave lake Alberta just as the sun was going down about 10:30 pm
  10. Price help with new boat

That's why I was asking I know Ford at wizard lake they do all my work and are great to deal with awesome family run buissness
  11. Pro X Series Fat Sac

I wouldn't sweat it you probably will want bigger sacs in short time and the 42 x16 x 16 is 400 lb I believe so you can use it other places I use a couple 40x12x12 just cause you can move them around without draining them there about 260 lbs each good for moving from side to side if you don't have a lot of bodies on board
  12. Price help with new boat

Since centurion has been bought by nautique will those dealers be selling centurion going forward
  13. Price help with new boat

good to know i just saw the ad got any ss210 instock?
  14. Price help with new boat

if you take a trip to Alberta a new hammerhead fx22 at $91000.00 Can thats probably $70000.00 us white knuckle motorsports lloydminister reg msrp price $108000.00 us
  15. Pro X Series Fat Sac

you should be able to place them to clear the exhaust they might go under your seating afew inches i have the enzo sacks that are much larger and i didnt do any mods to my sideswipe exhaust
  16. i say water tests r your best option and its fun because what floats your boat might not be the same as boatnut or myself i like the ss210 also
  17. Price help with new boat

i think it depends alot on what state or province your buying from and on the dealer you are dealing with some of the bigger dealers can move more on price than others if your in Canada our dollar sucks right now so new boats r probably up 20% here over last year
  18. acme props

that was my issue with the 1235 i had only a liitle over a 1/4 inch clearence but the 1235 is a 14.5 dia so a 14 inch will give me a comfortable clearence iam alittle skeptical about going with a lower pitch but he said if losing some top end don't matter this is the prop they use instaed of the 1433 so i will try it should have 3000 lbs + of ballast and people combined this weekend so it will get a good test
  19. shallow water surf set up

how big of Enzo sac do you have does it go all the way down the port sideunder the seats
  20. acme props

my dealer is sending me the 1619 i believe 14x13.75 he said that prop has been performing good for them says it is a little better than the 1433 so i will try it same cup size just lower pitchi guess it is common on the enzo 240 and new hulls should be here tomorrow
  21. acme props

the dealer is a pretty good guy he is sending me a prop to try so just shpping cost and if i keep it he is matching acme sale price of 468.00 US dollars so worst case it dont do what i want i am out some shipping
  22. acme props

losing top end doesn't matter to me more concerned about losing power and wave quality well i think i will price em out and get one on the way never hurts to have another option or spare anyway especially with the lake level dropping so rapidly this year the first 150 yards is pretty sketchy water level has probably dropped a good 6 to 7 feet for a lake that size thats alot slave is probably 7 miles wide and 45 miles long
  23. my son and i go to Maui every January to holiday and surf and to watch surfing at Jaws usually we get lucky and the surf is big at Jaws at least a couple days while were there but in the last couple years around the islands there has been alot of shark attacks and in shallow water even there is actually a shark tracker site you can go on to see the locations of the 15 or so tiger sharks that have been tagged with transmitters
  24. acme props

i was kinda thinking more clearence between the blades and hull would help i was told that not having enough clearence can also almost burn or dis color the hull if you get a lot of cavitation this does not happen often it seems to only be an issue when we are surfing in rough water conditions and acme suggests the 1433 for my boat as the high altitude heavy load prop i have been using the 1235 since it was on there when i purchased the boat but i dont even see it as a recommended prop for my boat on acme prop selector site which doesn't mean much i know they make a huge selection.
  25. Unique Avalache C4

The conversion no matter how ambitious just does not make sense anyway you look at it if you wanna run in skinny water buy a real jet boat I am sure if he had left the boat intact as a v drive he could of got a good price for it and you can buy jet boats cheap at least cheaper than a v drive here 1999 v drives are still selling for $30000.00 if there in good shape and normally aluminum jet hauls are under 3000 lbs instead of 4000 lbs or better in a v drive haul
