You can get a realy good surf wake on that regualr side but it takes some work. Its difficult to make a good goofy wake on that hull. If you can swing an AVY you'll have better results on both sides with much less effort.

The problem is no one none that's a distress flag. But definitely get a collapse able oar. Wave it in the air and everyone knows that you have a problem.

The lake is an old reservoir originally dug to supply water for the Ohio cannel system. Local farm fertilizer and manure run off have been a problem for this lake for years causing major algae blooms. This year things look much worse. The EPA suggests not comming in to contact with the algae or water in the lake! The nerve toxin saxitoxin has been found in Grand Lake and the liver toxin cylindrospermopsin.
