  1. Awesome video. What were the speeds for all 3 sports? Can you tell me if this boat will throw a clean beginner wakeboard wake from around 17 to 19? My 238 is washed out on one side or the other with speed under 22.5. Just too fast for beginners.
  2. New boat

I assume wakeboarding is not high on your list? Its an ok surf boat, but leaves alot to be desired for wake. In my opinion the Supreme line is falling behind as most boats now have a surf option with tabs, gates etc. and wakeboard much better than Supreme while throwing a comparable surf wave. Just something to consider. Supreme has an ok pricepoint, just be sure you demo to get what you are wanting for wakes and waves with any boat.
  3. Fi23 first impressions

I've been waiting to hear back from them as well, really need to get a demo in before winter.
  4. Fi23 first impressions

    What did you decide?
  5. Fi23 first impressions

    100% in agreement.
  6. Fi23 first impressions

Boat demo cancelled. Waiting to see the one Pat ordered.
  7. Fi23 first impressions

Im demo'ing this Saturday with NWBS.
  8. Play? Yes. Hours. Some days the wave will not produce no matter the configuration, period. Some days the wave is better in the chop than the days with glassy water. Makes no sense. I wonder if the surf tabs dont respond in a linear fashion some days. Either way, my Supreme days are very numbered.
  9. I remember seeing you at LBC, much different setup between our two boats thats for certain. Ours is very finicky, some days great, others not worth my time. Baffling.
  10. ...unless wakeboarding is important to you, remember not everyone is a blue haired surfer lol. According to NWBS, the MB will have a better, equal, and slower speed needed to toss a clean wakeboard wave. Additionally, I like the lines, colors, and design of the MB much better.
  11. Fi23 first impressions

If I could surf like that maybe I wouldn't wakeboard anymore either...pretty sure I get less air wakeboarding than you do surfing lol. Looks great.

That looks amazingly long! Can't wait to demo this weekend. Did u look at the wakeboard wake at all?
  13. 2018 ri237/ri257 changes

Nice. Sounds like what I'm looking for. Demo'ing an Fi23 next week, I think it will come down to budget.
  14. Bags Self Draining

Got the corks, plugged the holes, and it still lost water. So confused.
  15. 2018 ri237/ri257 changes

How slow are we talking? Im looking for a wakeboard speed of around 18mph with both sides clean, is this doable or am I dreaming?
  16. These boats will not clean up both sides under 22.5 mph period. I have 80 hours on my 238 messing with it, I finally settled for a clean heelside wake from 18 to 19.5 mph with toe side completely washed out. I did not demo before buying, my fault. This is a great surf boat, however in my opinion very finicky to set up, and wave changes constantly with weight, wind, fuel, chop, and current. Very susceptible to side to side variations with small weight shifts. Like others said and I am finding out, there are other boats that have different compromises with wake vs wave. I personally am shopping my options for next season.
  17. Bags Self Draining

No it didnt. I looked in the bilge as well, dry. Guess I'll get some corks for next weekend.
  18. Bags Self Draining

I lost 3/4 of a bag yesterday while sitting and eating lunch. Bags were full, shut lids, ate lunch, test run for wake since its a finicky boat, and realized something was amiss, starboard pnp was only 1/4 full.
  19. That would explain it. It has a weird hum/static/buzz as well. Thanks fellas.
  20. My starboard front playpen speaking has been popping for along time. I also had an intermittent pop from the starboard tower speaker. Today all tower speakers started popping and going in and out. The rearmost amp was flashing red. Turned power off and back on didn't fix it. Eventually it quit on its own. What a boat.
  21. Wakemakers has a local demo program. 50 dollars for the weekend and it goes towards a board if you purchase.
  22. So we may all learn, what was the issue?
  23. Do you wakeboard much? If so what settings are you using?
  24. No regrets

Iam thinking the cruise control on these boats must vary widely boat to boat. Over 12 ish and ours gets pretty flat and long. I know switching directions on the lake will change speed up or down 2mph.
  25. I was looking at MB prior to my 238, I very much like the MB in style and wakeboard wake much better. For switching brands I think it depends alot on what dealer options you have. I chose dealer over boat manufacturer, to do it all over again even though I really am just so so on this 238, Im glad I have a dealer that is working with my issues. Now, side by side, both dealers equal, I would chose MB for style hands down, wakeboard wake hands down, but 238 for surfing but only by a very small margin. The surf wake loses push as it gets longer, thus requires more skill and correct board to ride.
