  1. I have the GP2 and run at 720p 60fps which works great on my 4 year old laptop.
  2. Stoked, I'm in DC for a few days and was watching the news, I thought I saw video of you running down the street with a new board after "looting" a local board shop Actually, in all seriousness, pretty scary stuff going on this week in Baltimore. Was planning on going to Camden yards last night, good thing the game was cancelled, I probably would have been stupid enough to try and go up to the game. Stay safe brother!
  3. oil change

I change mine every year but I usually put in 100-125 hours. Actually, I noticed I was down close to 2 quarts by the end of season, need to make sure I check it more often.
  4. New Member Intro!

    Welcome brotha!!
  5. Looks good, I ended up putting a third port on the top, two for venting and one for utility, no real purpose but sometimes I bleed out the air through it (not necessary). Dividers - I didn't do anything special other than attaching the aluminum bars to reduce the flex of the dividers. Didn't drill anything into the floor but considered it.
  6. March picture thread

Ya, it gets really steep with a little cliff down below, I think he was worried about carrying too far, great day!! Looks like another storm is coming with another foot of snow
  7. March picture thread

I know it's April but this was actually a little over a week ago!! Hoping for a few more powder days, snow in the forecast later this week! Okay, so there's no snowboarding icon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78jn1ZNDLUQ&feature=youtu.be
  8. Have you tried an alternator rebuild type shop? I'm pretty sure that's what my guy did to chase down the bearings when he rebuilt mine.
  9. Big Boy Fly Boy or Soulcraft Hanu

I still think we need a board review section on the CCC. Click on a board and see everyone's review including boat and rider specs.
  10. Big Boy Fly Boy or Soulcraft Hanu

I own the BBFB and have ridden Big's version of the Hanu once. Durability, absolutely the BBFB, very well made and really light weight with the carbon rails. However, Jeff will do you right at SC and can put an extra layer of high end glass to increase durability. I love how snappy and quick the BBFB is, but it did take a little while to figure it out compared to the Blue Lake I had been riding. It isn't a cruiser board, I'm usually pumping and moving all over the wave with the BBFB, which is great. Also, here's the thing with the BBFB, at 6'3" 230 lbs, my wave has to be dialed in to make the board do what I want(airs, slides, spins), which it usually is given the 2100 lbs of ballast and switchblade. Note, there is a change in performance when I've gained a few lbs (laying around the houseboat on Lake Powell) and am up near 240 lbs . Given your size and weight, you are at the upper limit. Unless you get a screaming deal on a BBFB I would recommend the custom SC given the price is pretty similar.
  11. CREW DEAL: 2015 CenturionCrew.Com T-Shirts

Mr. Admin! Wife wants to know, women style or sizing available? Thanks
  12. New board

Awesome! What is the sizing on this board? the specs?
  13. This is what I used for the custom sac dimensions on the port side, 2007 Enzo 240, never had any trouble with seats or engine dividers but I did reinforce the dividers with a couple of 1" aluminum square bars running vertically on the dividers. Takes 8-10 minutes to fill with 2 Johnson Impeller pumps going through a 1 1/8 hole. I can empty faster because I have 4 pumps working, 2 johnsons and 2 of the Mayfair aerator pumps that came with the boat. Custom Sac Port Wes Jacobs jan 2011.pdf. 2 holes that fill and empty 2 holes that just empty 2 holes on top for venting / overflow With a light crew, I'll use the switchblade. With a full boat, no need. I also like a little counter weight, 300-400 lbs on starboard side right under the seat behind the driver. I have a bow sac that fills with the ballast puppy that came with the boat, only use this occasionally when I'm having a hard time getting up to speed. Prop 1579 ACME
  14. Thanks for the note, I've been watching this thread waiting for the response all winter...just kidding Actually, I think the two bolts were under the back side of the plenum (back / stern / aft of the boat) if I remember right, opposite from the v-drive.
  15. CREW DEAL: 2015 DECKadence Marine Flooring

This is Nate's, not in the boat though.
  16. Some powder riding @ Stowe, Vermont

The world is finally right, nice powder day here in Utah!!!! Thanks to BigCat's wife for taking this shot!
  17. CREW DEAL: 2015 DECKadence Marine Flooring

So with the logo and / or border being a darker color typically, does it get hot? too hot? I'm thinking luna silver and marine blue for logo.
  18. Larger Swim Decks on 2015 Models?

Serious boat envy!! Look forward to hooking up for some surf sessions this summer with the rest of the USM!
  19. GoPro 4

Sweet!! Heading to Maui Sunday for some diving and surfing, can't wait. Will document with GPRO!
  20. Boat Shows.

BigCat and I were thinking about meeting for breakfast burritos, Penny Ann's Cafe in Draper, around 10 AM tomorrow and then heading to the show at 11. Anyone else want to join the breakfast burrito quest?
  21. Some powder riding @ Stowe, Vermont

Love it!! It's been so warm here in Utah, in the 60's today and through the weekend. Tough snow year so far but I'm sure we'll get hammered in late Feb, March, and April. Last weekend was nice with 4-5 inches of new and warm sunny spring conditions. I need to take my GPro out next time!
  22. I really like the toggle idea as well, I thought about this concept in the past but never done any research on the best way to do it, or where I would put the switch. Very interested in what you find.
  23. Boat Shows.

Chad, are you guys coming up for the show? My hot tub dealer Arctic sent me their coupon code, wait for it....."Arctic", what are the odds?
