  1. Relatively new boat owner here. Purchased first boat in May - a 2007 centurion elite v c4. Now seem to be having issues with the center ballast. I could tell it wasn’t filling so I popped off the floor cover to take a look at it and the pump. When I hit the empty switch the pump will run, but when I hit the fill switch just get one clicking sound that sound like it’s coming from farther back near the engine (I did have the engine running when I hit the fill switch). I pulled the pump out to see the impeller and it was the same when I tried there as well. Impeller spins on empty, dead on fill, just that same short click noise coming from somewhere by the engine. Is there a trick to filling the center ballast, or is there a breaker or fuse or something that could have blown that’s preventing it from filling? Any help is appreciated.
  2. Hey, i recently purchased a 2007 centurion T5 air warrior, the boat comes with stock centre ballast and after market rear sacks. im having an issue knowing how the centre ballast works, when do I know when it’s full? When do I know when it’s empty? And what’s the best way to inspect the system to make sure there are no leaks ETC? thanks, looking forward to getting some answers. jordan
  3. I have a 2014 SV244 and had Evolution Tabs, surf system installed. Before the tabs we would run the boat listed and had an amazing powerful wake, the only issue was that we were constantly having to switch between goofy and regular surfing and the change took a little time so we decided to install the surf system for quick and easy switching between goofy and regular. The wave is super clean and long, the only issue is that we are having a hard time dialing it in and getting the same power / push behind the wave as we had before. Does anyone have the evolution tabs and if so what is your setup. We have the ramfill as well as 750 lb fat sacs in the rear lockers and 200 lbs of lead weight as well in each rear locker. We usually also fill the bow bag as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Love our S240 .... struggling with getting the wave to push... is this boat so large that the displacement is a factor or am I doing it wrong with the surf system? I guess speed and tab settings wold be the question.. Thanks in advance

  6. Im looking to upgrade my ballast. I have read other posts on here about a custom avy sac. I have a 2010 centurion avalanche C4 and wanted to know if anyone had the measurements for this sac or who to contact that might have this info. I couldnt find it on any forum. Was just going to do the port side for now. I called wakemakers and they did not have the measurements. I took my own measurements but I wanted to compare with someone who has this sac before spending the $700. They said the enzo sac would not fit. Thank you
  7. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am looking to pick up a 2003-2008 boat for under 30k. Looking at all the major brands but keep coming back to Centurion. I am finding it extremely difficult to put together all the information for the models and what they are designed for (T5, Hurricane, Avalanche, Enzo, storm package, length, etc). My ideal boat has normal wear and tear, low hours on the engine, and solid reviews from current and past owners. I will be using this for 75% surfing, 15% cruising, and 10% boarding and skating. I was lucky enough to have an '06 Air Nautique new so I am familiar with what a high quality boat should look and sound like. I realize this is a broad topic (1/3 wanted ad, 1/3 history, and 1/3 recommendations) but I don't have any way to test these boats out where I live in northern Indiana. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or information, Paul
  8. I have a 2015 FS44 and I cannot get the valterra valve unstuck from the piping the leads to towards the bow. See the pictures below. I am a bit nervous to crank down on this with channel locks and break it free. Any ideas on how to best do this? Thx, D
  9. Last summer I purchased a 2018 Fi23. We discovered there was a leak in the Port rear ballast but could not find the issue. The dealer I took it to found a crack in the rear ballast tank that is part of the hull. I have not seen the crack but the estimate to repair is $1,900. Anyone else had this problem or issue?
  10. When I go to the touch screen for starting to fill my ballast all the options are gone. There are no digital buttons to run the pumps.

  16. Hey guys! I purchased my first wake boat last week, an 09 Centurion Enzo SV240. I have a few questions. I bought it from a non-centurion dealer with 105 hours on it. She's beautiful, and I was told everything was functioning perfectly, but my first time out, the speedometer isn't working. It says 0mph until I really accelerate, and once I approach top speed it trickles up to 10-12 mph shown on the speedometer (although I'm clearly doing 35+). The dealer is supposed to look at it, but they're dragging their feet and handling it in a less than professional manner. Any idea what the issue might be? It has the scorpion 377, and 5 hard ballast tanks, 1 center, 2 mid, and 2 rear. I surf goofy and ride the right side of the wake (the driver's side, is that the starboard side?) The other side of the wake is noticeably cleaner, I'm told because of the prop rotation. Any affordable ways to clean up my side? I'm hoping for an affordable but effective wake shaper recommendation. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

  18. Hello, recently i just purchased a 2014 centurion enzo sv233 and need help figuring out best ballast/settings for creating best wake. It has both plug n plays in stern and the ramfill. Any help would be much appreciated. If i need to buy lead weights for best wake then i will.
  19. After 10 years of saying I want a boat and 2 years of saying I am buying a boat I finally pulled the trigger so I'm a newb but a quick learner. There are 3 switches in a line from bow to stern on the boat that say Ballast. I suspect this to be stock ballast because it's all located inside the hull and they all spew out to a stock 3 hole spout on the starboard side of the boat. If it isn't stock then of course I will have to figure it out myself. If it is stock can anyone explain to me how the 3 ballast system works? The first switch (switch closest to the bow) works and fills 1 ballast up but I am unsure of which ballast and where it fills up. The other two switches do not seem to work. I assume that the pumps are broken and will need to fix. If they are stock can someone explain to me where the three ballasts are located and which switch works with which? Any other details would be fantastic if you got it. Also, if anyone knows of any youtube vidoes that would assist that would be fantastic! Thanks!
  20. Recurring issue here. On my 2013 Enzo SV244, there are removable boards that keep the port/starboard stern ballast tanks from getting into the engine. On the port side, my ballast tank keeps busting through the boards and ending up partly in the bilge. The boards themselves touch the lower part of the engine which caused a failure last year. Over the winter I tried adding brackets to help secure one part of the board to the other. Didn't work. Anyone have ideas on how to permanently solve this problem? Thanks!

  22. Hello, New to the forum and the boating world. I recently picked up a 2003 Centurion Tornado Direct Drive. This is my first boat and we loved it last season. The tornado came with a stock rear ballast. Does anyone know what size (lbs) it might be. Also I measured out the compartment and can fit a much larger sack but am worried because it sits on top of the gas tank. Thoughts? I can’t find much on this boat. Also thoughts on surfing with this boat. Ya ya ya... I know it’s a direct drive and requires more weight but where and how much any other tips. Thank you

  24. Wanted to share some surf info for the older Typhoons and Concourses with the stepped hull/cut away hull. I believe they were built from 2001 until 2005. Found a great surfing set up today that worked awesome for surfing the port side. Probably the best wave I have found so far. I am 235 lbs so the wave needs to be good for me to free surf, and I could have surfed that wave all day. Lots of push with a nice pocket. I was surfing my old Obrian TT. Wish I would have had the Phase 5 with me, but I will give that a try in a few days. Lots of forgiveness, and easy enough to recover if you got a little far back. I have tried many options from more weight in the port locker to more weight on/under the port side seats. Today I had less weight than I normally use and it worked way better. Even when I added a few more pounds in the port locker or port side seat, it made things worse. Weight Set up with people or ballast: Port locker/deck 900 lbs Port seat 175 - 200 lbs Center tank 250 lbs Bow adjust as needed I had approximately 350 lbs Plus driver I ran 500 lbs in the port locker and two guys sitting on the back deck port side (Total of approximately 900 lbs) 1 guy sitting in the back port corner seat at 175 lbs. 250 lbs in the center hull tank. 350 lbs in the bow. I have a ballast bag under the filler cushion in the bow I can adjust as needed. Needed approximately 170 lb ballast plus 1 person at 180 lbs) Running 10 - 11 mph Hope this helps out my fellow Typhoon and Concourse owners with the cut away/stepped hull. I look forward to hearing from other older Typhoon/Concourse owners. Keep on Surfing.
  25. I have a 2015 FS 33 and the RamFill gates are not opening. When I engage the trailer mode button on the dash I can see the red keys on these units spinning. When I go underneath the boat to visually verify, the gates are still closed. Please help save our late season trip to Powell!
