  1. You have those listed backwards right? Top pic looks like a 257 wave. Night and day, great comparison. Thanks Dark
  2. Hey @BoardCo, i see where centurion came out with the opti-v hull in 2018, whats your opinion of the comparative fuel efficiency with a 2017 or 2016 RIs? Is it too much to ask you do a similar power and fuel consumption diagnosis with a 2017 on the lot? Thanks in advance if possible.
  3. Gas effeciency aside, big difference in those waves, IMHO. I would begrudgingly eat the costs higher fuel consumption if it meant a better wave, but yikes, those other two waves didn't seem anywhere near the centurion wave. Maybe it was just the camera angle, sneaky boardco
  4. That video is hilarious. Centurions are killing it, at least when it comes to surfing!!! I wont talk crap about Nautique but MalibU no thankU. Thanks @BoardCo for the info!!
  5. December picture / video thread

Thank you Dark for the tow. Look forward to when I can return the favor. Season greetings all
  6. Duck confit?

Got boarded by a duck today. She stuck around for about 10 minutes and then flew away.
  7. Blistering

I float mine and got a small case of blisters this year. Floated my 226 last 2 years before that and it blistered also. I hear it's something to do with the alkaline or acidic level in the water? I just assumed i was paying some carmic debt. I have spoken to several people (dealer -boardco, Malibu dealer, couple of gel coat guys and my cousin Larry who is an expert on everything): most recommend a treatment called anti-fowling for those that want to float. This treatmernt is supposed real the gel coat to stop the blistering, and is a one time treatment. The paint treatment, as I was told, is prevention for algae stains/growth. Yes it looks like crap but saves the bottom from becoming its own biospace. Honestly I am probably too vain to paint even tho I know the effort it takes to keep the bottom clean, but plan to try out the anti-fowling treatment so she can float this year. Even if just comesmetic, I am too vain to have bumps also . . .
  8. RI237 Ballast questions

I agree with Dark, the RI series are gonna be a better surfing boat. No experience with Supras but I have been blown away with how easy my wave is to dial in and how much force it has on the back end. You will love the 237 if you end up buying one. Good luck with your purchase!
  9. November Picture thread

Looks awesome Dark. Very envious. Was 28 on my morning dog walk with a high of 56 today in my hood. My poor girl is just sitting in a shed until next Spring. Depressing to type, but acceptance is the first step. You guys enjoy.
  10. Fresh Air Exhaust online ordering

I put one in my 2012 v226. I loved it, although it did create some spray on my goof side when surfing. Full disclosing, never wakeboard so no idea what it does to that wave. Pretty sure I had the third setup pictured. Good luck
  11. I saw something like that on my v226. Had to replace the drive shaft seals. Very sorry to hear about this issue CO Surfer. Hope you get her figured out.
  12. I installed the GSA on my old S226. It was awesome for switching but I always felt my listed wave was better (looking at least), just my opinion. The GSA wave was still nice enough i ran it 90% of the time, and the misses is picky about her wave. I did notice my 350 had issues getting up to surf speed when fully weighted (would run approximately 4000 lbs of ballast with the GSA) but my lake is 6000 feet. Probably not an issue for your newer FSs, especially if you have a 409. Hope this info helps with your decision.
  13. Winterization tomorrow for this homie. Seemed like the season flew by - let's hope winter does the same.

  14. Our new 2013 Sv233

Sick boat, congratulations!! Hopefully you have some season left in NC to get to use her before winter
  15. Anybody got any pox/blisters happening? I got a small outbreak on my portside rear corner. Also, anyone got any knowledge or experience with anti-folwing? Thx in advance
  16. Ri 217 Surf Setup

So, only issue I have is it's a 2016, and boardco said something in the past about my shaft angle being slightly different resulting in slightly different cats and center tab setup . . .but for the record I run full pnp and ramfill in the rear (no center or bow weight), surf tab at 65, center tab at 55, and cats at 0-5, speed 10.8ish. I run negative cats on goofy side (usually like 13-15) and more like 70 surf tab, but same center tab, sometimes I will fill and drain my ramfill to get 100 to 90 on the fly to get the rail to crisp. Usually is done filling/draining by the time the rider is ready to get in the wave. Also, got 400 lbs lead in the rear (200 per side), in addition to full pnp. Run about 80% fill for everyone else, but majority of time it's me and the wife at the above settings. Hope it helps. Happy surfing homie!
