  1. 2015 SV233 or FS33

I think my 233 is much more responsive as compared to the 244. I spent 10 minutes driving the FS33 and it felt a lot different to my 233. I am sure you will be pleased with your purchase.
  2. 2015 SV233 or FS33

My understanding is absolutely yes. Bongo and I both use our front ballast on the 233 and it is even more important on the FS33. I am a strong proponent of the 233 and had the opportunity to drive the FS33 right after the Phase 5 photoshoot. From a driving perspective the FS33 drives like a jacked up pick up truck and the SV233 more like a sports car. This is not a knock on either one, but I can safely say my wife would not be happy driving the FS33. The wake is not a lot different.
  3. The 2013 244 will not have ramfil. That would be the only quick switch option. I love the enzo features. More specifics are good to help you.
  4. There is a lot of personal preference in weighting a boat. I have a lot of bow weight in my 233. I fill the front bag full and add 100# cube. The push is fantastic. I should get the chance to extensively try out an FS33 this Saturday. Looking forward to it.
  5. I am good at following directions, but I am not real good at this. I am trying to not take the boat to my dealer, a 3 hour drive, if I can figure it out. I should have a multimeter.
  6. I am a very happy 2014 SV233 owner. My boat does everything I want it to do with CATS and RamFil. I have never been behind a boat with a better wake to surf and I have ridden behind a lot of boats. I am intrigued by the Quick Surf system even though I do not see the need to change sides on the fly. Has anyone actually surfed behind this system? What does it do to the current wake? It is my understanding that this can be added to my current boat if I so desire.
  7. I added SeaDek to my last boat and I really liked it. I only kept the boat a year and a half, but it looked good at the time of sale. I have carpet, but have just ordered the SeaDek again. Living in Florida we get lots of summer rain and the carpet can get real wet and I would have remove it from the boat to dry properly. I do not like dekadence for some reason.
  8. The issue of burning quite a bit more gas is enough to NOT add quicksurf to my boat. The novelty of switching sides is not important. I have a great wake on each side and I can switch sides in 60 seconds.
  9. Yes....domed number from them are great.
  10. I hate having any kind of weight showing and the best part of these weights is their size and the ability to keep storage.
  11. You will have a more accurate speed with the GPS. This makes it easier to go from boat to boat and know exactly what speed you are wanting to ride.
  12. Quick Surf

I have gone through this thread, but there aren't real use comments. I guess it is too new yet. I am sure my dealer, Transition Watersports, will get one relatively soon, but I want to hear from end users.
  13. The G23 at Nationals was not listed unless you count the people on board the boat. I competed and was a judge at that event. It is my understanding that the boat was weighted with a lot of extra weight in the bow.
  14. I LOVE my 233. Why pay more.......
  15. Had mine on the left on my old 233 and it is near center on the new one and I like it better for some reason. I also added a "boost box" which automatically turns the volume up and down based on the attitude of the boat. I really like that I do not have to fiddle with the volume every time a rider falls etc.
  16. wave shape

It is interesting seeing this thread. As a skim style family we tend to minimize the lip with a nice roll over. I have found I like full front ballast plus another 150 cube in the front on the side we are surfing. Very long wave and tons of push.
  17. I was not a fan of the set up at Worlds. The boat was way to heavy in the back corner. My 233 has enough counterweight and bow weight so it does not list a huge amount. I am sure this can/should be done with the FS44 and FS33.
  18. FS33 Demo 9-10-14

I want to test one out in person for sure. Loved seeing it at Expo and Roswell's FS33 was a sic color combo.
  19. This is a Centurion site and biased, but that is not all bad. The SV233 is an awesome boat. I am on my second one and love it. The surf wake is outstanding. What wake plate does it have? If it has the double wing plate you should have the goofy side wing cut off. It cleans up the goofy wake.
  20. YOu like it better than your old 233? I have my 233 set up sweet and have not found a 244 better. With some hard weight I do not have to switch anything and I do not lose and locker space.
  21. I've posted this picture before. SV 233 with CATS and RamFil both sides.
