That is true about the wake. 99% of the time were at 7-8 mph nice and steady. only when its dead on the river do we open it up.

haven't been on the site for quite some time. My daughters grew up and so the use of our boat went down. I sold my wake boat mid 2016 and have moved on to a different style of craft. upsized to a silverton 40' river cruiser which we spend every weekend on. I miss the speed of the old centurion for sure and the wake boarding but hopefully will have some pics of surfing behind the big boat this summer even though it will be short lived as gas milage not so good. the thing throuws a monter wake on both side at about 14-15mph and get a solid mile per gallon. surf on. centurion crew. just wanted to express thanks for all the help over the last 7 years while owning one of the best surf boats known to man. we have sold the old lightning and moved on the next phase of our boating lives. just purchased a 1990 silverton river cruiser. needs a bit of tlc but not much more then I sold the old boat for. I have much appreciated the advice, help and opinions received for the last 7 years and will miss checking up on the wake surfing world. word is I can surf behind the new boat but a bit more expensive. stay safe and surfs up. getting out of the wakeboating and moving into a 35' river cruiser. just dont use it enough since the kids are gone. hate to do it but in know theres a huge market for a nice used centurion with low hours for under 50K.

what is the best vinyl cleaner people have found and/or used. Im getting ready to put the old lightning on the for sale block and need to do some seat cleaning. thanks

im quite sure the shaft seal has never been replaced (2004 lightning, 350 mag mpi) and i have never had issues but its something that should be done. what is the best shaft seal kit people have been using and about how long would one expect the install to take (2, 4, or 6 beers)

im sure its the same as my 2004 lightning. Faria makes a nice depth/temp gage with a spacer ring that fits nice in that spot. thought i had a pic but if you to the faria website that have the gage/ring that is for that size opening.

depending on what year your boat is i use a cool mount that wraps around the pro swoop at the top next to the rope tow knob. pretty wide angle from up high.

so I was cleaning up the boat and had the sound going. I had the volume turned up a bit and if I turned it up to load everything would drop out and then reset. if I turned the volume down everything is fine. if the battery power is getting low will that cause the system to shut down and reboot if under to much load due to high volume. clarion M502 kenwood KAC-6402 amp (6) polk DB651 speaks any advice or recommendations would be appreciated. thanks

Hey curious if anyone has found a full cover that goes to the ground. My lightning (red) sits next to the garage during the summer and gets the east sun so every year i have it professionally buffed out to remove the oxidation. was thinking if there was a dark cover that atleast went to the trailer frame would help. havent seen anything like this on the crew.

2004 lightning. voltage gage has not worked for a couple of years and the temp gage also is acting up. if i was to replace both gages what would be the best option. was looking for something more digital if possible.
