  1. What about covering the vent with something like a Gore-Tex fabric, breathable, but won't let water pass through?
  2. You can see the facility quite well from this overhead shot on maps.google.com http://maps.google.com/maps?q=centurion+boats+merced+map&hl=en&ll=37.29463,-120.519939&spn=0.004538,0.006062&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&hq=centurion+boats&hnear=Merced,+California&t=h&z=18&iwloc=A and yes, that once was a ski lake out back that they used to do their testing on! Malibu's facility is just on the other side of the airport, and their lake is still full, even though they're not building boats there anymore. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=malibu+boats+merced+map&hl=en&ll=37.286994,-120.521264&spn=0.004539,0.006062&sll=37.287538,-120.521468&sspn=0.004539,0.006062&t=h&hq=malibu+boats&hnear=Merced,+California&z=18 Here's International inboard (Calabria/Supreme now) http://maps.google.com/maps?q=calabria+boats+merced+map&hl=en&ll=37.312125,-120.515613&spn=0.002269,0.003031&sll=37.286994,-120.521264&sspn=0.004539,0.006062&t=h&hq=calabria+boats&hnear=Merced,+California&z=19 And of course, Sanger http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Sanger+boats+fresno+map&hl=en&ll=36.699438,-119.768518&spn=0.004574,0.006062&sll=37.150312,-120.281774&sspn=0.823125,1.551819&t=h&hq=Sanger+boats&hnear=Fresno,+California&z=18 and MB http://maps.google.com/maps?q=MB+boats++map&hl=en&ll=37.335939,-120.602614&spn=0.001134,0.001515&sll=36.968547,-119.822388&sspn=0.825101,1.551819&t=h&hq=MB+boats&z=20&iwloc=A
  3. flyboy wakesurf board

Sorry for the late response, but wakemitch is correct that the Flyboy can be pumped, but you can also just put some weight on the nose and it screams forward. It's NOT like a shredd stixx that HAS to be pumped for speed. I like that. I'm lazy! I've ridden the Soulcraft Jetty and liked it a bit, but home is the flyboy! I am EXTREMELY leery of having a custom board on the boat with me, with young kids jumping all over the place. I'm not sure who said that the IS flyboy was 2x the weight of the hand made version, but even at 2x the weight it's not like it's "heavy" at all. If you really want the top banana in the wakesurf world, you'd need to talk to Stretch in Santa Cruz. He is a very well known shaper who now makes the boards for James Walker, and DJ James Z (James Harold). But be prepared to wait, and PAY. But your board will truly be one of a kind. If you're a skim guy, just get a Calibrated and be done with it. Wakemitch will agree!
  4. flyboy wakesurf board

I've rode the IS flyboy and the Soulcraft Jetty almost back to back on the same wave at the Wake9.com polar bear event last winter. Now as a disclaimer I'd already purchased the IS before the event, but was VERY happy to ride it again on a different wave. It's a very fast board, and very light. The construction is the inland surfer type and a LOT stronger than a Soulcraft or a Shredd Stixx. It's a board with a lot of down the line speed that only requires you to put your weight on your front foot to get moving! I like the Soulcraft a lot as well, but I'm afraid to have such a fragile board on my boat with the little one jumping around all the time. The IS is typically available for around 799$ so I'm not sure where people are getting the 900$ number, maybe MSRP? Now is the time for deals to be made as the board was out late last year, isn't a "new" model, and there is typically a limited supply of them. Jeff Walker has a great blog, at www.flyboywakesurf.com and I've had the pleasure to go surfing with him and his son a few times. If you can get out west for the Wake9 open in spring, it's WELL worth your time, because you can ride over 30 boards in one day!
  5. If you do end up putting the bricks together, it's a good idea to either cover them in carpet or something soft, so if you go to move em around and set em down a little fast, nothing will be scratched! Plus, make sure you melt them outside!!!
  6. Need New Board

Phase 5 is skim style, and OP wants surf style..
  7. Try Jared @ Lead Wakes leadwake@yahoo.com His bags are better (IMHO) of course, and use lead from reclaimed bullets rather than the steel shot from the pop-products bags... Also, they're much sturdier and have the handle on the side.
  8. Centurion Rep (Bret?) did this to the Enzo 211 last weekend at the "Polar Bear" event put on by Wake9. Didn't see the results, as I'm a normal, non goofy surfer!
  9. Great deal.. sounds like it needs a steering cable. If you're mechanical at all, you can do this yourself
  10. Love the show me your genitals guy.... Hilarious!
  11. Are you Tahoe owners towing in tow/haul mode? I've found this makes a huge difference when towing with my buddies' suburban. Also, of course ethanol E85 will get less MPG. A gallon of E85 does not have the same energy content as a gallon of standard fuel. What it does have, and why the perfomance guys like it, is a higher octane rating.
  12. I've replaced mine by finding the number on them and going on ebay. I don't think marine rated will really matter, as they are built pretty well.
  13. Used to watch her in videos when she was kitesurfing, saw her at a competition in San Mateo once. She's so compact, it's amazing, and has great style too!
  14. Looking for a third tomorrow, already threw this up on Wakeworld, but nothing yet! If you want to go out, just let me know. ericjohnsilva AT gmail.com replace the at with @ Thanks!
  15. Greg: This is awesome news, and the best part about removing those tanks is that the engine will have SUCH better access. I think you've inspired me to pull mine once I'm due for another impeller replacement. Eric
  16. I don't have any comments on the electrical side, but are the tanks you've removed the stock ones (450#) in the back? Did you get them out intact or did you have to cut them? I've got the same boat and was curious, but when I looked it looked like cutting was the only way to get them out! Thanks,
  17. CRAZY GOOD DEAL ALERT! Kicker KM6500.2

Ha! I've been looking at that Box on craigslist for the last month, I'd imagine the seller was happy to off it!
  18. CRAZY GOOD DEAL ALERT! Kicker KM6500.2

Agreed, and once you have an Ipod, there isn't a deck out there that is as easy to use as the ipod interface, (if there is, please tell me!) Just go straight from the ipod to your amp, and call it a day. Get your 3.5 mm connector to RCA from monoprice for like 6-10$ and call it a day! If you want separate volume control and eq, just get a cheap 1/2 din eq and go from there
  19. CRAZY GOOD DEAL ALERT! Kicker KM6500.2

See where the ebay link has a button for "make offer"? I bet you a cold one that if you submit an offer near the $227.99 that was previously paid that it will be accepted! Good luck!
  20. Duffy: That wave looks great, but another thing to make you even more excited is that those shots sure look like they were shot in the CA delta, and NOT in a deep lake. For whatever hydrodynamic reason the waves are ALWAYS bigger in deep (lake) water! So that wave is JUST the starting point! Very cool and keep us posted!
  21. Can't beat the Flexibility of the Psycho, It's only exceeded by the Psycho2!!! Only thing is that it's often TOO warm, as it's made for surfers that spend 90% of time sitting in the water, not riding it!
  22. If you can access your steering cable you can see the part number printed on it in bright white lettering. I just ordered a cable from jamestown distributors for 165$ shipped for a 20'
  23. I don't know if it's closed or open, but I'm haven't heard from CrewAdmin either... Anyone have any idea? PM us please!!!
  24. Not sure if this is still going on, but I need pricing for a complete package for a 04 Ski Supreme V220 (Built by Fineline!) with the Merc 350 MAG Tow Sports. Thanks for having this great forum, it allows us without a home (Supreme owners) to have one! At least my boat was built in the Centurion Factory!
  25. Wanker World

All things considered I'd love to have him in the sweet spot of my boat as additional wave help!
