  1. Dave, If you're ever in the SF Bay area, you're more than welcome to take a look at my Fi25!
  2. 2015 Supreme S226 seat issues

Glad to hear that there is a good resolution here. This is definitely not a "normal" vinyl issue at all!
  3. There are a few that hit your price range out there on the internet. https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/boa/d/denton-2017-supreme-s238-wakeboard-boat/6927169628.html https://albanyga.craigslist.org/bod/d/macon-2018-supreme-boats-s238/6914777120.html https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/boa/d/palm-harbor-2019-supreme-s238-surf-boat/6915384333.html Another option is to look at new ones as well, As we're going into 2020 the dealers don't want to be stuck with unsold "out of season" inventory. Here's an awesome looking boat. It's also great to have full warranty and to know that there won't be any damage or issues with the vinyl, etc. And often times banks will be slightly more aggressive on the interest rate for new boats vs new. Peace of mind is worth something!! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bod/d/lakeport-2019-supreme-s238-ski/6921181793.html Ask for Travis. I know if it were me, and I was making such a large purchase, I'd at least feel out the dealer to see what they have to offer, and at what price!
  4. IMHO the fuel consumption concern beween the S226 and S238 is minscule at best. That will be the least of your worries. As someone who had a SMALL boat (2004 Supreme V220) and now a HUGE boat (2019 Fi25) there's no way I can ever go back to the cramped older boat. We're going to be heading into the sales slide time of the year, as usually sales fall off of a cliff after July 4th. Keep your eyes peeled, keep those search engines humming, and you should be able to find exactly what you want.
  5. If anyone is interested in adding one of these mirrors, they are part of Amazon's prime day sale, and are currently marked down to just over 100$.
  6. 2014 fx44

Awesome boat. No reason not to go big on your first boat, just take your time getting used to it!
  7. Two new Centurion models, from what I've heard. Now we're going to have the Ri, Vi, and Fi. Supreme is getting a new tower. More to come, I'm sure.
  8. New Fi25

Hein I don't think you're weighting the Fi25 correctly, IMHO the boat does NOT need more weight than factory to surf, and surf well. I think you need more roll, maybe draining off some of the opposite side of the rider. Maybe post on the Facebook group for best settings, but based on that video the boat is definitely not set up correctly.
  9. I used to own a 2004 V220. Great boat, and no reason it shouldn't be able to give you a fairly flat wake for skiing. The boat LOVES weight for surfing. Does really well with a shaper on it as well. I never skiied but with the stock prop the boat got up to low 40's I believe, and that's on the stock prop.
  10. Yea, would love to hear the other side of this story. I'm sure it is plenty different as Freedom is pretty well regarded. Always two sides to every story.
  11. Mods look great. Keep the teak! It's classy and not something you'll find on newer boats because of the cost of the lumber!
  12. Boat model is Eclipse. Have him shoot you a picture of the engine as I THINK the base engine (270) hp was still carb'd.
  13. By "Flipped the board I meant put riding surface down, as the bottom rails on the boards that touch the water are typically more rounded than the top deck. Glad to see it is all working out though!
  14. Now that you have your angles set, I'm wondering if you could lower it by going to a custom piece that is the same angle as the hinge fitting. I wonder at which point the play is coming in. IMHO it is hard sometimes to get the knob screws as tight as you can with a tool. Also wonder if you flipped the board if it'd make any difference as the bungee/strap would be more at a curve vs the sharper edge of the rail. All in all, great work and you are at the final tweaking stages!
  15. Need opinions on Boat

Check your messages. As far as avy completely different hull designs. Avy will be pretty bad for Skiing imho.
  16. Need opinions on Boat

    https://boulder.craigslist.org/boa/d/2004-ski-supreme-v220sp/6336698951.html There's the listing!
  17. Need opinions on Boat

Just remember that the 270 hp engine is the old carb engine, and I'd want a 350 MAG at the very least. Gives you much more options. Fuel injection is just so much better!
  18. CRAIGSLIST FINDS

Jake, If you're looking for a new board I've got a buddy selling a Chaos Team Wedge for about the same price as that doomswell. Little bit shorter at 4'6" but an awesome board, comes with Chaos bag as well. He's got it listed on a facebook site so I'm not sure I can link you. Email me at ericjohnsilva AT gmail.com and I'll send the info off to you.
  19. That makes some sense - But on the board storage, I could probably easily get 6 boards on top of my Corson Racks, maybe more if I used longer bungees or started taking fins out! Starts looking ridiculous after a while though.
  20. Just our of curiosity, why would you want this sort of cover? One of the things I love about my older boat is that the bimini is lower, thus offering more shade throughout the day, and I can run Corson's surfboards racks on top of the tower, allowing me to have up to 6 boards out of the way and protected.
  21. Heard good things about Morrison Marine in Rancho Cordova as well as someone in Tracy. Nor Cal Mastercraft gave me a reference but I wrote it down and lost it! Good luck!
  22. 257?

The Ri257 makes me feel sooo small!
  23. V220 SP Reviews

Owner of an 04' V220 myself. Boat is pretty great for wakeboarding, nice clean wake that just gets bigger with ballast. Not the best Surf boat due to the flatter hull but I've figured out a way to make it work pretty well. I've been through my boat like crazy, upgraded virtually everything. PM me and we can chat more.
  24. Saw this board on the facebook page, artwork is INSANE!
  25. Engine hours

There should be an hour meter built into the tachometer. If it is suspect or otherwise, the dealer can plug into their scan tool and pull the data as discussed above.
