Last summer I purchased a 2018 Fi23. We discovered there was a leak in the Port rear ballast but could not find the issue. The dealer I took it to found a crack in the rear ballast tank that is part of the hull. I have not seen the crack but the estimate to repair is $1,900. Anyone else had this problem or issue?

hull-deck-joint leaking
hjziegler posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
My Enzo 230+ from 2012 is getting a bit worn out it seems... There is a leak in the joint between hull and deck on both sides in the area over quickfill ballast tanks. When surfing, there is nice little stream coming in and making the bilge pump run quite often. This is really annoying, now, during the short season over here. Shouldn't happen at all I think. I suspect this should be dealt with immediately. I have seen at least one topic concerning the same problem. Who has experienced similar problems? What had been done to fix? -
Quick-fill tank leak
BigFoiz posted a topic in Supreme Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Has anyone had issues with their quickfill tank leaking? I've had water in my boat under the starboard passenger compartment and under the drivers seat every session. It's not just a little water either, its enough that I have to pull out the wet/dry vac to get all the water out so it can dry in a reasonable amount of time. I figured out that it was coming from what I assume is the vent out of the top of the QF tank just underneath the drivers seat. What I can't figure out is why water is coming up through the vent hole and into the hose while surfing. I figure I'll probably try to pull the hose off and add some silicone sealer and then replace the hose and clamp, see if that works. I'm really hoping its not a bigger problem than that. Has anyone else had this happen or have any ideas about fixing the problem? Thanks- 2 replies

Bustin a shaft seal nut...
mancho posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Hmmmm good times, I just broke the brand new spanner wrench I bought to remove the packing nut around the shaft seal. So, I've read this thread 10xs and especially the right up on which way is loosey goosey, and the article says wrenches go together to loosen.... Well I cracked the spanner wrench, and the nut has had 3 GOOD PB blaster bathes... What am I doing wrong. Yes a PSS no drip seal is looking good right now, but I'm trying to do this repack without removing the VDrive. http://www.centurioncrew.com/index.php/topic/4760-my-dripdripdrip-is-now-a-trickle/ Is it possible, that the wrench direction is to loosen is to counterclockwise the nut off the shaft? That seems more logical, as the threads on the piece would be normal. Otherwise the threads are backwards. Anyone enlighten me here??
