  1. Hi all! I am carrying out a major engine overhaul on my Ri217. The cylinder block is bored to the second repair size 020 (0.5mm). Enginetech P5038(8)020 pistons will be installed. The manufacturer recommends setting a thermal gap of 0.03 mm, but this is for land use. Is there a difference in thermal clearance between marine and automotive engines? If so, what should the clearance be on my ZR409?
  2. Hi all! My Centurion Ri237 with a zr409 engine began to stall every time the accelerator was reset from slow to neutral. this often happens when mooring, or when selecting a rider. Usually after that it starts easily. Sometimes you have to twist for a long time to start, as it floods the spark plugs. No power loss or uneven operation is observed. Currently replaced spark plugs, high-voltage wires, throttle. Any thoughts on this topic are welcome, thanks in advance!
  3. I have a 2015 SS210 with a 409 with about 100 hours. Check engine light came on today and then disappeared. Engine temp and oil pressure look good but I noticed the coolant overflow was dry. Filled it and it was dry again within an hour. Can't see any visible leaks and engine temp is staying around 170. Any suggestions? Just starting a two week vacation and hoping this is something simple.
