  1. For anyone who knows. What is the purpose of the rubber hose attached to the brass coupling in the first picture? Is that for greasing? Also why is water coming from the seal? Is water used as a lube? Just trying to understand the function.
  2. Will it hurt anything if I go to the lake today.?
  3. NC FACTORY VISIT

Yes Me too! I was told that Centruion plans on coming back to NC when production gets back up in the CA plant. Who knows when that will be.
  4. Last Wednesday September, 15th I took my boat down to the Factory in NC to have the rear seat repaired. The seat was rolling up in the corner and after speaking with Les (Centurion VP) he said they had a fix for the problem if I would be willing to pull it down to the factory. I live in Winston-Salem, NC so it is about a 3.5 hour haul but I decided to make the pull. Once I arrived at the plant I was first greeted by Les who was super friendly and eager to get my seat fixed. After meeting Les I met several of the other guys at the plant. While they were working on my boat Ward (Plant Manager) took my girlfriend and I on a tour of the plant to see how the boats are made from start to finish. During the tour it was very interesting to see how the Centruions are made. Ward the Plant manager was super nice and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my boat. He was also extremely knowledable about the boats and answered every single question I had with detailed experitse. I felt like a King because at one time I literally had 5 guys working on my boat. Not only did they fix my seat and make it right but they also upgraded my boat with a few extras (no charge) (Stainless Swim Platform Brackets along with the Stainless Steel Polished Bling Bling Package.) I already had the bling bling package on my boat but it wasn't the Stainless Polished. I arrived at the Factory that morning at 9 AM and pulled out around 12 PM. I cannot speak highly enough about the service I recieved while at the plant. Les and Ward both went well out of there way to make sure I was a satisfied Centruion owner.
  5. Who's winterized?

Winterized mine last week. Just too many other hobbies when falls starts to roll around, it sure is a lot harder to make that payment when you are using it!
  6. Sad News

Sad but true, haerd the news about 3 weeks ago.
  7. I have an 09" Avy with the PCM 340 motor. I just bought it this summer so I am new to the V-Drive boats, ballast tanks, etc. I keep the boat in a nice insulated garage however it is not heated. What steps to you guys take in order to winterize your boat?? Do you usually take to a dealer to do or do you do it yourself. I would rather do it myself because I don't like other people messing with my stuff
  8. Gladiator Racks

Doc, can you tell us more about the Nice Rack Surf forks, will they hold 2 surf boards and are they a direct bolt on to thw swivel Skylon mounta on the Gladiator tower?
  9. Yeah, I ordered a 750# Fly High Sac and Pump from Overton's. You?
  10. Here is a pic of it but the Bimini isn't up, I am going to the lake tomorrow and will take some pics of it with the bimini up.
  11. Last new 09' Avy in NC, came off the showroom floor
  12. Just picked up my new 09' Avy today and I can't figure out how to get the Bimini folded up in the tow postion. It was already taken off when I picked the boat up today. Any detailed instructions would be great! I messed with it for 2 hours and still no luck
  13. That's what I thought..but I heard that all the new Centurion's have the "Zero Off" brand.
  14. What is the difference between Zero Off and Perfect Pass? I am looking at a 09' Avy with a PCM 343 that has Zero Off instead of Perfect Pass. Which is better?
