  1. Never heard that one before. I do think it's a good idea to have the boat running while filling or draining, but I rarely do it to drain. I launch the boat and keep it running while I fill just to make sure I don't drain the batts. Plus, it's all warmed up by the time my trailer jockey gets to the dock and it's straight to surf time!
  2. Big guy wake pics?

No surf systems on my boat baby! Yeah. Those other boat companies need all the gizmos and fancy angles. That's a pretty funny story too Jake. My wife has small hands too
  3. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

Finally took a pic of my boat that I really like. Datass
  4. Big guy wake pics?

Isn't it funny how people do that! I'm 6'1" and 195. Pic angles can be deceiving as well. Bud of mine. 6'1" and 230ish...
  5. HA! Looks like she's got things perfectly under control. Very nice. I'm not sure how many towel lengths this is, but, it's more than we usually have on our boat. Cards on the table, the boat was turning to the right to help me from falling too far back.
  6. Worked perfect. Yeah. Tapatalk doesn't show your videos for some reason. It's all good on the site. I'm having Jeff build me a custom HC Pro and almost asked him to do it in carbon. He's doing the whole thing in a "carbon like" material that is clear but is stronger than normal glass. Don't know how it'll compare to real carbon. I know it won't look as cool. But also didn't cost a bunch extra. Yours looks badass.
  7. Surf setup

I'm surprised the water stayed good till 3! We've had a couple really calm days this year. But I usually try to either go early or after dinner. Mid day is just too windy. Funny how that damn boat launch can take forever even on a super slow weekday just because of a couple knuckleheads taking up space doing whatever.
  8. Thanks man, it should work. I'm not too worried about it. It's my old hero hd. Barely gets used anymore. But still. Phillewis, that was a pretty sick video. Next time just open your vid in YouTube. Then copy the url, then paste it here. What model Soulcraft was that and is it a full carbon wrap?? Looks super slick.
  9. Surf setup

I think he means you rrd525. Lol. That seems to happen a lot! BTW, seen you guys leaving Alouette yesterday. Lake calmed down at about 6:45. Was perfect.
  10. Lol. Can you imagine not letting people drive your boat!? That'd just make you a chauffeur! So, went out last night and had the bright idea to bring both my GoPros for multi angle. Pro tip here. Don't use this backplate in water. So now the GoPro is Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Just busting your balls bud.
  12. FAE

Otherwise, it's just got one purpose...? Getting messed up. LOL
  13. It's been my experience that demoing a boat for surfing is never as good as riding someone's dialled in boat. Here's the top two reasons. 1: Anyone as serious as most of us are about our surf waves are more capable of dialing in our personal boats than 99% of the salespeople out there. 2: almost NEVER does a dealer FILL the gas tank 100%. This alone will make a big difference to most boats. JMTC
  14. It even says in his bio. Gravity... Lol
  15. FAE

So What's your tequila of choice? I prefer CaboWabo over Patron personally.
  16. Not the Avalanche. All Avys 2010 and up were given RH Vdrives to correct the wakeboard wake. Or so I have been lead to believe for the past 6 years
  17. Holy pooh, Sporty lives!!! Thought he was gone forever.
  18. Welcome to the Crew! Where are you located and what's your home lake?
  19. My dealer has been stocking the suckgates and Mission and the ronix ramp things for a little while now. The Mission one looks and feels the best by far. Very professionally made. But! The suckgates, which look to be about $40-50 in materials sell for less than half of the other ones ($300cdn)and they are apparently flying off the shelves! Over a dozen per weekend. Wished I had thought of doing that! Was too busy hating on them. LOL
  20. I had an 06 Elite V for 5+ years. I plumbed in 750's in the rear lockers. The blower vent tube on the starboard side would get squished and often pull out of the side vent housing. Wasn't a big deal as I had to tape that vent up anyways so water wouldn't come pouring in. I ran it listed (hard) with the surf corner 750 full plus 150lbs of lead and 250lbs of lead under the surf side seat. Then depending on crew size, would throw another 800lbs in bags on the seats and floor. Now... if I owned that boat still, I'd be looking at these "suck gates" and would start with both rear 750's and center tank full. PS. If you're worried about crushing the fiberglass vent tube thing in the locker, don't be. When you're filling the bags, you should have the locker doors open and watching them fill. Shut it off early if you want.
  21. Not necessarily. 2010 and up have RH rotation props. The port side should be harder to clean up.
  22. MONSTER air!!! You're lucky, even when I'm on friends boats I usually end up driving! But when they're on mine they take their share of driving time too.
  23. Thank NWBS. I'll contact the shop on Tuesday.
  24. Yep, mine squeaks sometimes at startup. Just a second, then gone.
