Nice! I'm up to 10 days on the mountain with 2 days last week (30 degrees). More snow coming this week but nothing like the NE! I'm thinking I'll get 30 days this year, 50 sounds awesome!!

If we don't win at least we'll look good. BSA.
surf moocher replied to RhuntIII's topic in Off Topic
Bring home the hardware Rhunt! Good luck!! So happy my boys are finally out of this stage Although I did a pretty cool surfboard / long board one year. -
I really like this thread! Lots of cool music options I was unaware of. My kids get tired of my music which usually consists of few genres: 80's alternative / ska Beach tunes / reggae: Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, Toots & The Maytals, The Drums (Nate's fault) Not big on country, not anti, just don't really know it.

Difficulty starting after engine warms up
surf moocher replied to jiriki's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I don't know that I would do anything until I saw symptoms but now that I have done it, pretty easy to get to once you figure out how to take the Plenium off. I can walk you through it Chad. I think we have the same boat 2007 240 with the 6.2. -
The wife loves her Ronix Carbon Pro 4'6", six touchdown signals her last time out when she nailed her first 360 Lots of options, as it has 5 fin boxes and comes with 10 fins, 5 at 2.3" and 5 at 2.9".

Difficulty starting after engine warms up
surf moocher replied to jiriki's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Both the muffler and the screen like gasket on mine were filthy!!! Both were blocking airflow. I haven't actually tested the results since I cleaned it out post winterization but I'm optimistic it will fix my starting problems, and hopefully increase efficiency. -
Thanks Mr. Admin! PM Sent.

Enzo SV230 overloaded?
surf moocher replied to jiriki's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I slam my 2008 240 Enzo with 2200 lbs of ballast and 6-10 people and run SB at 3 or 4. I've never had it heat up due to load or weight. -

December surf Pics- Who else is still riding?
surf moocher replied to Lak3surf3r's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Okay, not December surf pics but I finally got our Lake Powell July trip into a simple video!!! It's 11 degrees here in Lehi, Utah today. Can't help but think about the good old summertime! -
That would be like making a deal with the devil!!!

I take my sb off every time I trailer and drive > 10 15 miles. Just one locknut to remove. Very easy.

Especially if they bring gas money. Most of my surf friends weigh over 2 bills and bring 20 bucks. It's the right combination, fat bellies and fat wallets

Guys with IAC issues tell me what you think
surf moocher replied to Tommywalton1974's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
To remove the Plenum, after you remove the top 6 screws, where are the other bolts or screws you need to remove. It still feels very solid after removing the 6 screws on top. -

USM - Utah Surf Mafia is now on Facebook
surf moocher replied to chadr's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Chad, you are the man! What a great day! Great weather, sunny and no wind! - 8 hours driving for 7 hours of surfing, a very respectable ratio! - Epic wave with 9 (mostly beefy, chad you could stand to double up on lunch and gain a few) USM members in the Enzo! - Kokapelli Deli was righteous! The bread was phenomenal! - Tons of laughs Looking forward to seeing more pics and vids posted. Someone help Dura get himself a new computer! Thanks again Chad and the southern crew. The northern USM contingent had a blast!! Looking forward to the spring event in April / May! -
Me and George Castanza, professional hand models. I'm typing this wearing oven mits, got to protect the goods

Thanks Nate! Yep, her first one! She didn't want me to include the celebration in the video but I couldn't resist! It's kind of like the receiver that scores a touchdown and does every possible celebration move. Then the coach says, act like you've been there before...well she hasn't been there before so she does 6 Joe Montana touchdown signals She's come so close so many times! I was super excited for her. She's come a long way this year, and she really loves that Ronix Parks Carbon board!

Tips on changing prop underwater
surf moocher replied to ssgviper's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
I usually have a spare prop and puller on a big trip like lake powell but I keep it back at the dock in my motorhome. I always figured I would have to trailer it to change the prop, even if I had to tow it back to the dock with the houseboat or another boat. I do keep couple of masks, a small scuba air tank (57 breaths) and a sharp knife on board. I've had the pleasure of untangling, ultimately cutting, a rope from the prop while huge swells are hitting the boat and rain coming down, without a mask holding my breath. No fun!! -
I have to admit, given the quality of vids posted, I'm a little hesitant! This pales in comparison. Nonetheless, here's a quick vid from our Fall Break Lake Powell trip, good times!!! Air temps in the mid to high 70's, water 73 mid day.
