  1. SV230 high altitude prop

Go measure the distance between the prop and hull. I ran a five blade on my 230 that only had 3/8" clearance with zero issues.
  2. SV230 high altitude prop

Just thinking out loud here. The 911 is a 13"x10.5" three blade. Is there not a better wake prop out there? It's nice having four blades for pulling power. A little more diameter would help as well. MCs230, what is the gap between your current prop and the hull? You should call Acme Marine and see if they have any "better" options.
  3. SV230 high altitude prop

Not sure what transmission was on my 07 SV230 but the best high altitude prop for the Black Scorpion 330 in that model year was the Acme 1612. I think it was 13.5"x12.
  4. November pics and video 2015

You the Man Jester! If I didn't have to take my kids to hockey seven days a week I'd be in my dry suit too. The water is always so calm in the cold months.
  5. New Boat Advice

We have a 2014 SV244 with CATS but not ramfill and have a pretty amazing wake with a light crew and only 400#'s of lead. Can't go wrong with any of those boats. Personally I'd stay away from ramfill as I've read about lots of problems.
  6. The 1579 will be your best bet for a propeller.
  7. Here's my FAE before I tried to pinch it in. Yours does look different.
  8. Interesting support plate to what I put on my 2014 SV244. The pipe looks the same though. I thought Larry was going to make them more hydrodynamic to reduce the spray issues.
  9. I drilled a couple small holes at the base of the front legs of my evolution tower and water was able to drain out.
  10. There are two grease zerks on the rudder. One is difficult to access.
  11. The 22VE and RZ2 both put out a nice surf wake, just like the Avy and Enzo, but with any of these four boats you will need something in the 12' list for a great wake.
  12. 3/8-1/2" space to hull is pretty tight. The minimum standard a few years ago was 1/2-5/8".
  13. You're going to have to post up some picks of the installed product. It'll be interesting to see how they fit in an older model SV that was designed for Drain Masters. Can you find out if they're just plug and play or mods have to be done. Thanks in advance.
  14. Jester, is that all you do to winterize your QF valves? Or do you take them out and do a full service?
  15. When filling the tanks put your hand over the vent hole on the side of the boat.
  16. 2014 FX44 Need info, good or bad

I think if you read a few of the threads here you will find lots of owners having trouble with their ramfill valves. If you have a good dealer locally who can provide constant service you might be ok with ramfill. Other than that the boats are pretty amazing.
  17. FS33 Prop Size

In my manual it wants the prop to be able to get to the maximum rpm range when the boat is unloaded. If you can't get to 53-5600 rpm with a couple people in the boat you have too much prop. Have you measured the distance between the prop and the hull on your boat? 15" diameter might be a little close. It is on my 2014 SV244
  18. setup for 2012 SV244

yes, we ride between 11.2 and 11.5
  19. setup for 2012 SV244

I fill my QF on the starboard side when surfing the port side. I also use a little lead if the crew is light.

  21. Bigboy Flyboy

Is anyone riding this board? My kids ride the original Inland Surfer Flyboy but my youngest is approaching 6' and 170 pounds and finding it a little small. Will the bigboy be a good fit or is it more ridable if you're over 200#'s?
  22. Bigboy Flyboy

Customs are great and I ride one (BombPop) but these inland boards are so durable it would be better for my boys and their friends. I just think it might be too big for 170#'s. Won't spin as easy or be as controllable. The specs say for riders over 200.
