  1. No regrets

We run a crazy amount of difference in ballast. I'm running over 5500 pounds all the time. I live on a small lake and go multiple directions and have I ride on different lakes.
  2. I run around 5500 pounds with the Ex3 and around 13 mph. The wave is huge, extremely long, tons of push in the far back. It feels to me as good as an FS44. The new tranny in 16 makes that motor feel like way more hp. Nothing doggy about it. I've never had problems planning out either
  3. No regrets

I have 110 hours on our 2016 and have messed with it quite a bit. My fiancée doesn't love an extremely listed boat but we do off set it some. We have I believe around 1080 in the rear bags each side. And we fill everything up front to backWe also add a 750 to the port side seat and lay an extra 350 on the back seat.. We don't mess with the stinger much. Maybe up to 20 percent. I personally don't. Also we go anywhere from 12.8-13.4. The wave has loads of push even back to the wash.
  4. I currently own a supreme s238 and did own a 2013 Epic 23v. Not a biased owner but DO NOT buy an Epic. Company is terrible to deal with, the Smart Tow is a massive headache.
  5. Where do you plan on storing the boat for the winter? Shrink wrap can turn I into a moldy mess if the boat isnt perfectly dry inside.
  6. An Extreme trailer is better than Boatmate?
  7. Sorry I got the boat mate trailer, rear steps, add on spare tire, plus mount, no custom wheels. 5% sales tax and still right at around 70k. Sorry for the miscommunication.

  9. The 6.0 is an obvious for 2017 to get for only 750. Last year it wasn't an option but with the new transmission it's crazy how much power the ex3 has. I also got docking, underwater lights. Yes I believe they went up 3% this year in price. By custom ballast I had the wakemakers package installed at the dealer which I've had great luck with. I believe it's just under 1000 pounds combined on the rear and side port and starboard lockers it's noticeably different as I surfed it with the stock bags when I demoed it. Also I add more weight in different spots in the boat and my wave is pretty incredible.
  10. I ordered my '16 238 with almost all options including metal flake, custom ballast minus the upgraded engine which isn't needed unless maybe you are at some kind of elevation. You can surf with stock ballast listed, with quick surf it's pretty terrible. Just upgrade it or bring bags or lead and don't have any bad days on the water. And my 238 was under 70k. You need to check around and deal a little bit
  11. What options are you looking at getting? You keep saying 80k... Your boat should cost a lot closer to 70 unless your ordering the H6.
  12. I thought I would start a new topic. Everyone shows how great there waves are and big, but they always put pictures of the smallest possible rider going. Does anyone have some legit pics of people over 6 feet tall riding? My wake always looks long with me but since I'm 6'4" it never looks as huge as when all the shorty's ride( no pun intended )
  13. Big guy wake pics?

I haven't had any time to get out or take any pics. I just finished building a new house and haven't had much time for anything else.
  14. Add a lot more weight to the rear. If u have the stock bags it's not even close to enough. With QS I run everything completely full with wakemakers package which I believe is just under 1100 pounds on each side in the rear and side. Plus I add 750 to the rear seat and favor it towards the surf side. Usually ride 12-12.6 mph with that setup. Also rides great listed. Depends on your preference. When my fiancée is with which is almost always she prefers to ride level. I'm ok with it as long as she puts the extra gas in ?. Also the QS all the way down and wake plate0-1/3 down.
  15. I was out today on my 238 today and got a compliment from a guy with and ri237 on how great my setup was. Is it stock? No. Is it simple to setup? Yes. Does it have the software issues? Definitely not. I've always wanted a centurion until I had this boat but now I would like a 60 thousand dollar reason y I would? If the price difference on the sv isn't crazy I guess it's your choice but, if it's a bit of a difference the choice should be easy.
  16. How much is the price difference?
  17. 2017 S238 ?

Dash looks like a moomba and windshield looks like an MB. Supremes work great as simple as they are. I'd rather change an impeller all day long than deal with the centurion software issues
  18. I haven't felt uncomfortable at all putting extra weight in the bow of the 238 at all.
  19. I also have wakemakers custom bags in the rear lockers
  20. It usually depends on the how many are in the boat. Usually run everything full and lay a 750 on the far back part of the floor. If we have 5 people or more sometimes I add a 370 towards the bow. Surf tab all the way down and mess with the trim till u like it. I usually go around 50% I will go anywhere from 11.4-12.
  21. I prefer my QS wave. I'm also in the minority here though to and ride skim style. Have a very long mellow wave with the push I like all the way to the back. I've tried both and messed with them both. It burns a lot of gas, but if you can't afford gas don't buy a boat. Very simple to setup and my fiancée is more than comfortable driving too.
  22. Opinions For New Boat!

I was shaky in buying the new 238, since it was a new boat to the Supreme brand, but now having 30 hours on it, it's amazing. I have an absolute incredible wave. It's easy to setup, oh and it has a 5 year warranty. That 5 year is huge, plus you can buy the boat new in the 60s the goofy and regular waves are great. U can list the wave or run quick surf and the wave is great. The roominess of the boat is outstanding. I load it down with at least 4500 pounds of just ballst and have no problems getting on plain or pulling the weight with the EX3. I would of loved to buy the fs33 or 44, but for another 40 grand it just didn't make sense to me.
  23. I agree the 58" DD is the best board I have ridden for a good smooth skim style. Im 6'3" 210 pounds. My brother in law also rides the 60" Phase 5 Trident. He's about 6'3" and around 250. Both boards ride great for big guys. I'm currently learning to ride the 55" Hammerhead which is supposed to ride like a 58". So far it's alright but I still prefer the DD
  24. Surf setup

If it was nasty, we have to see this wave, right?
  25. All I know is there coming out with a bigger boat. Something in the 25 foot range and 200k msrp loaded
