  1. Sewlong with board pockets. U won’t regret it.
  2. Mirror for FX22

Factory windshield mounted mirror. Had to take it apart to tighten it this year but otherwise, no complaints.
  3. Fi rumors

I like it. Looks FX ish. Hoping the price is in that range as well.
  4. Try greatlakesskipper.com They carry a lot of discontinued oem accessories.
  5. I've used your setup recommendations most of last season. Thanks! Regular listed wave and suck gate is great. Goofy is still washy even with diy suck gate. Not as bad as listed goofy but not as clean as regular. Now, I don't have CATS either so maybe that's the difference.
  6. What is your goofy ballast setup?
  7. Thanks dejoco. I've had it for two seasons now and just can't get a consistantly clean goofy wave dialed in. Regular wave is golden. Did you have to reseal the bolt holes when re-installing the plate?
  8. I have a '13 FX22 with the standard stainless steel symmetrical wing plate. Has anyone cut off the starboard side wing to make an a plate? Any issues?
  9. FX22 vs Nautique

I love my fx22. I came from a 19' I/O so I actually upgraded in storage space. Some things to consider. 1) the space under the observer seat is huge. 2) the built in cooler free's up floor space. 3) all ballast hidden and no need for extra bags, frees up floor and seating space. I usually ride with 7 in the boat and never feel cramped. Usually nothing but towels and sunscreen on the seats. Freeboard is low as you said but I haven't had issues with spray except for windy days (15-20mph). But on those days I thank God for the deep V.
  10. X3 The Inland Surfer Red Rocket works for me and a couple of friends that are all between 240-280. We all started to go wireless once we figured out that our foot placement was important as well as the board. Still rookies but having fun learning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The Harbor Freight handle works great on my FX22. It held all day and was fine up to 18mph. Didn't go beyond that. This pic is with the wakeplate @20%. At zero, its taller but not as much length. Speed 10.7mph. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I would go with 7" for the vertical dimension and start with 11-12" for the horizontal. It'll be easy enough to cut the length down without even disassembling the gate. Or...you could temporarily attach the bigger plate to the face of the 7x9 with industrial velcro. Worked for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Tried the 7x9 plate last weekend. Had a lot of push and had to increase our normal speed. Two people went rope less for the first time. Tried a 7x12 plate and the wake looks better still. Pic attached with just me in the boat. Still tweaking all the variables and having fun with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
