Google search and you'll find a youtube video on removal of the fittings. DO NOT use a heat gun unless it had adjustable settings and you can use a very low setting. Use a hair dryer to be safe! With the glue they use there is no twisting it out. You have to "pop" it out of the threads. I've done it before and it's amazing that it actually works without messing up the threads cause it takes some force to get it removed. As mentioned, sourcing new fittings is much easier and ensures you don't ruin a good fat sac.

I doubt it would negatively effect anything to surf first hour out? But I followed the manual to a T. To me it wasn't worth the risk later on down the line. I burned through my break in hours in 2 outings and it did go pretty fast. But hey - If it's your boat do whatever you like! LOL That was like 60 hours ago so old news

Yes - exactly what I did. It worked out because weather was cold and windy most days anyway so was easier to refrain myself. But I can tell you I jumped in and surfed at 10.0000000000000000001 hours LOL

It's exciting but the hard part is getting through those break in hours. Seems like an eternity watching that hour meter tick by in slow mo!

When it comes to forums its a double edge sword. If they are run and administered by the manufacturer, you get a lot of police and deleting of threads/posts about any other brand. It's hard to have open and honest discussions about what's good about other boat companies cause they typically won't allow those discussions to occur or continue and lock them down. I really don't see much negative about letting buyers discuss other brands. I would want to know why a consumer likes another product or feature. If your threatened by a pretty picture from another boat company then I say your focusing on the wrong thing. But it happens ALOT! On the other hand, there is usually a good presence from someone (or multiple someones) at corporate so issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently. They can help hook up dealers to consumers and take direct end user feedback and suggestions and incorporate those into their business. If not managed by the parent corp. like this forum, it's exactly the opposite. Really all it would take is someone from Fineline/correct craft to peruse the site fairly often and offer a helping hand. They can also mine the information for ways to incorporate what the buyers want/suggest over time. To me it just seems obvious and makes savvy business sense? Same with the Dealers. Which ones are knocking it out of the park? The ones who are paying attention on here!! Heck I know more about the Supreme Boats than anybody working at my selling dealer.

^^ THIS ^^ However I think that Gloria is swamped and has her hands more than full. And I speculate that the lower volume dealers kinda get mixed up/confused in the shuffle. How else can you get Centurion parts sent for a Supreme to a Supreme dealer? And all my paperwork IS in place and they have the HIN. Can't really understand how you have a HIN on file and still can't cross reference the correct parts? I digress............... Just reinforces the importance a dealer can play in the whole relationship. Wish I had one close but a lot of us don't.

Good one Dark! As far as mods I've seen where people have cut the bottom out of one of the 2 cupholders in the passenger dash and have a trash can behind the observers seat.

I ordered my lead from Pop-products and they won't ship USPS, UPS or FedEx. They require freight carrier and they come on a pallet so I had them shipped to a buddies business and unloaded with a forklift. Interested to see how this turns out. Had the same issue (on a much smaller scale) with USPS when I received a bunch of stickers in a flat rate envelope but shipper printed own label and was short postage. Faced with the same decision but it was for less than $4 so I took care of it. To me it's a silly policy to ship at all when they know postage is short/due. Why add to the cost, frustration, and confusion. That's a gov't run business for you!!

As far as prop goes, you might jot down some of the specs after you run her through the ropes a few times and then call ACME for recommendations. Anybody use a GPS app that shows speed in MPH in increments to the 10th and not just even speed. (ie......11.1, 11.2, 11.3 ect....) I can't seem to find one! Thanks
