  1. rumor is that price is 599$
  2. I know the V226 is a killer wakesurf boat, but I've heard mixed reviews on how it can wakeboard. As I still like to punish my knees occasionally, does anyone have any pics of the wakeboard wake at say 18-22mph? The boat is on my short list of upgrade boats, but I do have kids who I think will want to wakeboard at some point and I want to make sure that the wake will clean up at lower speeds. Thanks
  3. MB is out for me as I don't like the short sunpads, the tower, nor the shallower seating due to the massive amount of inboat ballast. Probably going to look at an Axis T23.
  4. Yup, looks like this would work. http://www.lencomarine.com/index.php/products/lenco-switch-kits/led-indicator-switch-kit-single Looking at the install pdf it's just 2 wires to each ram, so no rocket science there. http://www.amazon.com/123SC-TACTILE-Tilt-Trim-Switch/dp/B007GSD5UG I'm sure Rick Lee doesn't like that it says "bow" instead of left/right. Oh, and my favorite excuse "This is supposed to be a "price point" boat!
  5. Harold: I wonder if something like this could be retrofitted. http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/product/tab-position-indicator/ Or, if you want to just replace the switches as well, this seems like it should do it. http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/product/electronic-indicator-control-kit/
  6. Amp for tower speakers

Wetsounds (or any other hlcd type system) will blow 6.5's out of the water.
  7. Jared ships USPS Priority, so at the most 3 business days in transit. He had a pic yesterday of 25 few bags going out!
  8. Lead wake bags are SO well built. Easier to move than the pop products too. Plus, however slight of a chance there may be, if the steel in the pop products bags ever gets wet and starts to rust, that's not something I'd want to clean up!
  9. Towboat towing with Houseboat

Why not just put the transmission in reverse? Prop won't spin that way.
  10. Sounds like a fun project either way!
  11. Can It sit on the cupholders front and rear or am I thinking of a different boat?
  12. Could it be the reminder for the 25 hour service? Have you had your 25 hour service done?
  13. I guess I'll probably be in the minority on this site when I say that I actually like the clean, simple lines of the dash, with all of the gauges and such visible at one time. I don't at all like the "touch screen" displays in new boats. Don't like the Nav screen in my car as well, so it stays in the down position most of the time. I like that I won't be charged a premium for the "fancy gizmos in the dash". Just more things to break down the line, or things that will eventually be obsolete and not easily replaced. I would like some more gel options though.
  14. Agreed, if the boats performance is what is shown in the video I will stick to a 226.
  15. DJs wave

Funny that the video posted is SEVEN years old! The wave is MUCH bigger now and DJ Jamez is much more in shape. Dude KILLS it out there.
  16. Mec500 hit it on the head. Lack of ANY sort of proximity control basically DOOMS this device imho.
  17. I put the ACME 911 on my V220 (2004, 315 MAG Mpi Merc) and it helped quite a bit getting out of the hole. Top speed came down a bit, but I don't usually run my boat into the 40's if I can help it. The flat bottom style of this boats beats you up in chop IMHO.
  18. Sounds like an IAC valve problem to me. Mercruisers are known for having issues with these valves!
  19. Arm caught in rope

This is what you need! http://www.handlehut.com/page5/page5.html
  20. wtb a ho coex

^ agreed, except the biggest pile of poop was the broadcast!
  21. SURF GATE

Hurry it up already! :-) enquiring minds want to know!
  22. My bet would be that the "lights" on the front of the bow are the port/starbord running lights.
  23. Google bat turn! totally a ski show type thing
