  1. just wondering if anyone has installed a sub in the passenger side storage locker and how it sounded. I need to upgrade the amp powering my 4 6.5 speakers so figured I might use a 5 channel identical to the other I just installed and power an extra sub off it. My other sub is under the drivers counsel. It sounds ok but I could use more bass. Thanks
  2. well i pulled the trigger on the you got this 2.0. can't wait to go try it out. I think i am more excited than the kids.
  3. thinking of pulling the trigger on a zup board. It will be used primarily for kids 9 and under who cant get up on a regular surf board and for not so good at surfing adults. should i get the you got this 2.0 or the do more 2.0. never ridden one so don't know the pros and cons. Thanks

  5. what would be the best way to pull 2 sets of new wires? any suggestions for wire type?
  6. i picked up the same boat late last summer. I am no expert yet but i''ve got the best wave so far on port side with a suckgate. I fill the big bag in the port locker that goes under the seat(1100 i believe) full. starboard side bag is a little smaller(750 ish) and i fill it full. small center tank full. for a small small crew ive got 2 400 portables and will put one port side and one up front. big crews i get a great wave with no portables. both locker bags are tied into stock pumps. I still get a good wave listed but don't like the ride and don't like having rookie drivers swamp the boat.lol
  7. i will be putting 100-150 watts to each speaker
  8. I picked up a set of kicker KMT 674 tower speakers. Boat doesn't have tower speakers but is pre wired with 3 sets of 18 Gauge wire. Is this going to cut it or am i going to have to pull a couple sets of wire through. thanks
  9. So i pulled the trigger on an 06 avy c4. Love it so far. been going back and forth with using a suckgate and both sides weighed down and then just listing it to port side. ( havn't had too many goofy riders) I have an 1100 pound in the port and 700 starboard rear lockers. also the mid tank full and have a couple portable 540 pound straight bags I've been moving around. It doesn't have an adjustable wake plate just the fixed. just wondering what everyone's preference is to get the best wake as far as both sides weighted down with a suckgate vs listed. If listed do you use bow weight? and also does anyone use the v shaped bags up front and if so what fit best? I figure i need a v bag up front and then have the 2 540 straights to move around the back maybe? Every trip out so far has been with a different amount of people and some days have been a zoo with boats and wind so its hard for me to say what worked best so far.
  10. https://classifieds.castanet.net/details/2006_centurion_avalanche_c4/3546870/ here is the add. Going to have a look tomorrow morning. It will be used mainly for surfing. Also pulling kids on the tube and maybe a little wake boarding. Kids are still fairly young. I don’t see a perfect pass system and from what I understand that is almost a must have?
  11. Hello. First post but been lurking for a while. A 2006 Centurion Avalanche C4 just came up for sale in my area and it's real low hours. under 200. I'm new to surf boats but had this boat on my short list. just wondering if there is anything in particular I should look out for or things to avoid about this boat? From the pics and video it looks real clean and well taken care of. Love the site by the way. Thanks in advance
