Hey just wondering if anyone has any better ways of changing the oil on a 5.7 black scorpion than sucking the oil out with a pump. Or if anyone has put an elbow on the bung with a 1/4 turn valve that you could attach a hose to or anything like that which would make it easier. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

I have a buddy heading down to laredo for hockey this year and was thinking about making a trip down there at christmas and was wondering what the weather is like and if there are any good lakes around there. Not afraid to pack the boat up and make the trip from the great white north if I can get some good surfing in.

I am going to try and get out this weekend if possible and take some pics now. Lots of delicious waves out there. Hope clean water isnt the deciding factor a couple of damns burst upstream and our lake is pretty ugly looking. Still trying to weight my boat the best way possible. Right now I have 1100 port locker, 250 midship on both sides, 150 infront of port midship and 750 center of bow. I start with that and then shift weight around or dump weight depending on number of people in the boat to try and get up to surf speed.

Ya I have the hard tanks under the seats. What kind of hassle is it to remove these tanks, or would i be better off putting an 1100 in the rear locker and a fatbrick infront of the midship ballast. I made some measurements and dont think i could fill the 1100 full but could probably get 900 to 1000 pounds in it. I also plan on putting a 400 in the bow. We just started surfing last year so i went out and bought an enzo and am trying to figure out the best way to weigh the boat down. Thanks for your time and information it is greatly appreciated.

Do you have to remove the midship ballast to install an enzo sac. I have been told that you do and that you dont and wanted to get clarification on that. Thanks.

Hey thanks for all the replies. I am looking for something that sounds good but dont want to break the bank while doing it. I am not afraid to spend a little extra for for quality. I just bought this boat and it has 6 kicker speakers in the boat, 1 10 inch kicker sub and 2 kicker tower speakers. I think i am going to take the sub out from behind the kick plate and replace it with 2 and then put that kicker sub under the flip up seat on the passenger side and want to add a couple more tower speakers.
