  1. 2012 V226 shaft tube outer diameter

Did you get your leak stoped with that seal part number, honey badger
  2. What I love about boat show season is checking out all of the manufactures latest and greatest ideas and features.....MasterCraft did something cool this year on the new Xstar. They installed rub rail mounted docking lights.....not sure if this is new in the industry, but it is the first time I’ve seen it. I had to have this upgrade so here we go!
  3. Anyone on here spent any significant time on the new zs232 yet? Curious to hear the feedback!
  4. Another "suckgate" story

Wakedirt, in my experience, shapers don’t work well on a 226....the wave is really good listed....that being said, I went down the path of a GSA system. It’s pricy, but it’s worth the money......it does require at least 4K in ballast to throw a big wave.
  5. So after my friends constant persuasion, I tried a Mission Delta that he uses on his Nautique 230. For the record, it does make the Nautique pretty fun to surf with a really nice, pushy, skim style wake. I installed it on my evenly weighted V226 and was unimpressed to say the least. Very little push and the wave was short.......I then tried the combination of the shaper and a slight list, it made it surfible but the wave was still short. I pulled the shaper off and kept the same slight list and the wave instantly gained height and push! Finally I weighted the boat for it's normal listed wave and it was back to big, long, and awesome! All of this was done on the regular side. Bottom line, the shapers might not be a great investment if you are a V226 owner looking for a great wave. I agreed to do this experiment looking for a way to speed up the regular to goofy switch times! I guess I will keep throwing lead and filling/dumping bags . ☹️
  6. X2 on H’s comment...... Soulcraft and Chaos are great boards but I would add if you have money, the new Hyperlite virial boards are super fast from what I am hearing from some of my boys......for only a small price of $1200😬. Lol. I’ll stick with my Chaos!
  7. Zs232 opinions

I’m headed to the Denver boat show in a couple of weeks, I really hope they have a ZS to look at. If they surf similar to a fi but still have the supreme simplicity, it’s got to be a winner! The only thing that bothers me is the ZS is getting pretty close to the FI price. I would think at that point a guy just steps up to the Centurion.
  8. It’s the same top that fourwinns used on their H200/210 reverse arch boats (2012/13).
  9. The 1847 did the trick on my v226. Surfs great with 4K of ballast.....also will pull a skier or wakeboarder great!
  10. They are awesome.....they are pretty bright and work great for getting off the water after a late evening set....I don’t think you will be disappointed if you add them.
  11. Moved back to Utah from NE

If you were in the cornhusker state you should have hit us up! Lol
  12. Think my short term swim deck solution is to raise mine as well.... I have some 2 x 2 inch aluminum square tubing I’m going to use with 2inch longer screws.....
  13. I tried to post up a pic of the goofy wave I had last weekend but I see my membership fee is due and it wouldn’t let me.......I felt pretty good about my 226’s performance till I just watched a vid of a 257’s goofy wave😳. Either they had a great camera angle or that wave was like 5 foot tall!
  14. Bomoseen, it is crazy that as I read your updates, it’s like identical to my story! Last weekend with a crew of 5, new and improved Ri style of center trim tab, 1300 lbs in each rear locker, both rear hard tanks full (250 lbs per side) and 300 lbs of lead under the surf side side seat, my wave was really nice! The crazy thing is, the goofy wave is absolutely killer now...... better than the regular wave......it is tall and long with a very nice transition. I ride regular so it kinda makes me mad! Lol. This weekend I will work on improving the regular wave. I’ve adjusted my tabs to deploy the least amount that the swim deck will allow.... this gives me a negative 1/2 of degree deployment while in “full surf” on the control. The goofy wave likes a negative 2 degree deployment for the best wave. ******opinion*******. I wish that I had “full” control of the tab angle with the actuators. The non-programmable presets are probably fine for most people, but I would love to have an actuator with a built in transducer that would report its position to the controller. This way you could have tab position read outs on the app. Then you could dial the wave and record the position with out having to monkey with the brackets. If there was a programmable setting option, you could store the position, or range of positions that works for you particular boat. ***********. I still believe that I need less deployment, so my answer for that is to raise the swim deck an inch or two, or build a new one, so I can get to another hole on the tab bracket. I would love for my middle setting to be at 0 degrees deployment and have 3 degrees to play with on the positive or negative deployment ....Bomoseen, you might benefit from the same mod. I will try it and let you know if it works.
  15. Could also be an O2 sensor or knock sensor......I had a knock sensor come unplugged and I had all kinds of alarms and warnings displayed.....
  16. I had a couple of free hours today to start the install of my new GSA system. I currently have just 2 hours invested in the install of the tabs....The install vids on GSA’s website are very helpful up to this point.
  17. The 1847 is on and it helped a bunch getting up to speed. It performed well while pulling a skier as well... 27 mph was 3500 rpm......I am still left wondering what the 14 x 13.75 would have done for me🤔
  18. My little 330 Indmar needs all the help it can get...lol
  19. I’m crossing my fingers that going from a 15.5 pitch to a 14.25 pitch solves my issues
  20. Infinity, what engine do you have in your SV??? 343 or 409?
  21. Well I pulled the trigger on the 1847 (14 x 14.25 .150 cup). Hope that wakes up my launch while surfing but doesn’t twist the motor to tight while wakeboarding and skiing We will see. I went with Nettles in Austin.......
