Give me your input. Would a piece of 1/4"aluminum covered with gator step work as a replacement for my teak swim deck? Same weight as the wood. Pros and cons?

I've been looking for a good right up but haven't found one with great detail. If sanded the pad might stick better. I don't mind the teak just not how slick it is when wet.

I'm wanting to replace a teak swim deck on a 2002 elite v with something I can put some non slip pad on. Anyone have advice on this swap. Is 1 inch structural enough for a direct swap?

For the money where would you spend the money kicker Kmt674 or wetsounds xs650

Thanks for the information. I'm going to try some heat shrink tubing on my board racks.

Is there anything that I can put on the black inserts on my board racks to make the rubber not make everything that touches them black or do I just need to replace them? Any helpful ideas are welcome. This is my first post but have read this forum for a long time and gained helpful information. Thanks!
