  1. Is anybody towing their boat down the highway with the cover on? If so, are you noticing any wear marks on the boat from it?
  2. Towing a 238 with the cover on?

Alright. I appreciate the replies. It's a 2016. I have always towed without a cover. Just thinking of using to keep crap out
  3. Has anyone tried to put the hydraulic bars on the side seats of their Supremes? I like how some of the other manufacturers offer that. If anyone has done it. Please post some pics.
  4. S238 wakeboard setup

Hey man I get it for sure. I was super bummed on my wave when I got my 238. However I do love the overall boat. Fit and finish. Etc. I am still in the process of dialing in all my stuff too. But it's getting there. I will say my Axis was easier to dial in. But I am not giving up on Supreme yet. It's just too pretty not to love :-)
  5. I have a 2016 238. However, I bought it in September last year. So I only took it out a few times. I haven't been out yet this year. So here is my thought / question. We all seem to be loading the boats full of weight but it mostly in the back and some under the side seats. Everyone knows these are huge boats and from what I understand you have to basically sink it to get the wave right. But has anyone tried to evenly weight the boat from the front to the back so the whole boat goes down in the water evenly? I haven't. I am just curious if that would work better? I have no idea. Just throwing it out there. Curious on people's thoughts.
  6. Weighting the 238.... Just a thought

Yes I have spoke to Harold. However I am in southern Oregon. So he is about 5 hrs from. I may run into him at Shasta lake since that is where I will be all summer :-)
  7. Weighting the 238.... Just a thought

I haven't tried the gate. However sticking pooh to my expensive Supreme bothers me. Shouldn't need that crap for a "surf" boat. I completely agree with you about the wave needing work. I am still trying to find the perfect combo. And of course I am regular foot and most of my crew is goofy
  8. S238 wakeboard setup

Well I literally came from an Axis to the Supreme. The Supreme won't make as good of a wake as the Axis. The Axis was created for wakeboarding. The Supreme is made for surfing. With that being said, spent a ton of time behind the Axis. And only a little time behind my Supreme. But, I am happy with my Supreme wake. You just have to play with it a bit to find what you like. I go at about 22 mph. So no issues for me but my girlfriend and others I tow go around 18 mph and I can get it pretty clean. Give it some time. I will never trash and Axis cuz it's a great boat. But I think everyone knows the Supreme is better built. And way nicer interior.
  9. S238 wakeboard setup

Pick the speed you want. One side will look more washed then the other. Fill the bow and center Start filling you sacks until it starts to clean up. Then use your center plate to clean it up. Then it's pretty good. It's not the best on the market but def not bad. However the lip will have a bite. It can launch you, which I like, but def don't wanna go over it to fast if you aren't wanting to jump
  10. Weighting the 238.... Just a thought

How do you like to weight your boat race city marine?
  11. Supreme Font?

Any chance I can get that font too? I have a 2016 S238. email address Dougherty161@aol.com Thank you, Brandon
  12. They are about $100. I used to have an axis. So it seems the Malibu tray would have to be made wider to work in the Supreme. And also cut for the hydraulics
  13. I have heard people have adapted the Malibu ones to make them work. I have been wanting to do this too. Does anyone have pics of this?
  14. 2017 Stinger Plate

Could that new plate be put on a 2016 easily? Of would it be a pain?
  15. I know this should be in classifieds, but I can tell that no one actually looks at that section very much. I have a 2016 238 and when I bought it I had the Northwest Boat Sports side sacks installed. I don't like losing the storage so I pulled them out and I am going to use lead. Does anyone on the forum want them? I will make you a good deal. Also the boat comes with two sets of Icon 8s. They are good speakers, but I am going to switch to the REVs. If anyone is interested in these, PM me or text me at 541-891-3128. Again, I know this should be in classifieds, but I figures someone in the general forum might want this stuff.
  16. It's funny you mention that. Yesterday I went out and filled all the rear ballast on both sides the center ballast and 6 bags of lead on the regular side. I had the center tab at 50% and the surf tab down about 50% ish. Not sure I just hit the button until the wave looked good. It was by far the best regular side wave I have had so far. I tried about the same set up with goofy but I had to ride pretty close to the platform. On regular I could get back fairly far and I was happy. From what I am learning you really just have to give it a lot of weight! I don't like the regular side listed. I liked it with the boat more even with just a slight list
  17. So yesterday I surfed both regular and goofy. For regular..... I had the quick fill full. The plug and play full. 4 bags of lead under the plug and play bag. the center tank full. And my passengers on that side. The trim tab up. The quick surf down 4 clicks. No weight at all on the starboard side except the driver. For goofy...... I did the same deal. All weight possible on that side. Center tank full. Trim tab down 50%. Quick surf tab 4 or 5 clicks. It was good. I want to try a few things next time. But it's getting there
  18. UPDATE..............if anyone cares, lol. I got the speedo re-calibrated so it seems to be pretty close now. It was off by 4 mph at lower speeds and by 8 mph at the higher speeds! I did what people suggested to the make the wave better and it was definitely better. You really do have to sink that boat to get a wave. I quickly messed with the stereo grounds and that didn't fix the ground noise, so I will have to tear it apart this winter. I adjusted the stereo and I still don't care for the Icon 8s, so if anyone is interested in them send me a PM and I will make you a deal. The stock sub is actually pretty nice, but I want to move it to make more room, so if anyone is interested in that, let me know. Conclusion............... the boat is a really nice and I am getting happier with the wave. I just have to keep messing with it to make it perfect.
  19. S21 vs S226

Well to be honest. My divorce helped me get rid of it. She got the boat. Lol. I was gonna buy another Axis. But I took a look at Supremes and I liked the quality and went with it. I really like the quality and look of everything. Just gatta get my surf wave dialed in
  20. S21 vs S226

Oh and mine is a 2016
  21. S21 vs S226

So my last boat was an Axis A 22. I won't say anything bad about Axis. It is a good boat. However the supreme is a much stronger and better built boat. The interior is night and day better in the Supreme. I just got my boat so I don't have the surf wave dialed in yet. But the wakeboard wake is legit! If you plan to have 8 people plus more I would go with a 238. It's super comfortable and I have never heard anyone say "damn I sure hate having extra room and space". :-)
  22. S21 vs S226

On that note. I think a 21 foot is too small for that many people and all the stuff adults and kids want to bring into a boat
  23. S21 vs S226

Just bought a 238 and it's a big roomy boat. Easy to tow and easy to handle. My last boat was 22ft. And this one feels the same driving and maneuvering it around
  24. WakeMakers Supreme S238 Ugrade Bags

It piggy backs off the big bag in the back locker. You can't really fill or drain them separately. You could out a valve between the bags just to keep the smaller bag from filling if you wanted. I am sure you could get inventive and run the hoses different ways or something. But the main bag has three hoses running into the smaller bag under the seats
  25. NW thank you for the sheet I will give it a shot this weekend.
