  1. I think I am going to drill a small hole at the base of those front legs on mine. What size bit should use?
  2. What have you guys done to plug your rear side vent holes to prevent water from filling up your locker when surfing? I put hockey pucks in mine but water still gets in. I am going to try silicone sealing them in.
  3. Any extra information would be great. That way my installation will look as good as yours.
  4. That second picture is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much Wakedoc.
  5. I ordered it from Centurion and I think it was $477.
  6. Is there any downside to getting the main body of the sac a little oversized? Will it still hold the water up in the arm when moving or will it all push to the back?
  7. The height of my locker is 24" and the custom Enzo sac from wakeoutlaws measures 26" high but due to the extra width of the locker in the middle my sac does not reach the locker door. There is probably about two inches of room to the top. I was thinking I could order a custom sac with a 28" height to give it that extra room to fill out the sides and all of the way to the top.
  8. The enzo locker is partially rounded. I think it goes like 25" wide at the bottom to 29" in the middle to 27" at the top. The stock enzo sac and the custom enzo sacs are 25" wide as that is the locker width at the bottom as well as the arm width under the seats. I was thinking of getting a custom sac with either more wide for the whole length or make the body portion taller than the locker height to help fill out the extra locker width. What would you recommend Duffy?
  9. Enzo SV230 Family Sports

We have an SV230 and pull our kids on a three man tube all of the time. I read some posts about problems with the evolution tower so we only use the ski pylon for tubing. I have tried three different props on our boat. 1579 - (13.5x14.25) gives the most pull but tops out under 40mph 537 - (13.5x16) good all around prop, around 3000rpm surfing and also does not rev the engine too high when tubing/cruising 817 - (13.5x17.5) cruiser prop, not for surfing or wakeboarding (too much pitch)
  10. I have tried the Acme 817, 537 and 1579 on my SV230. I would not bother repitching your current prop, just keep it as a spare. You want to go to the largest diameter as possible for holeshot. On the Enzo that is 13.5". The 817 is a cruiser prop and will never go back on my boat. The 1579 is a great bottom end prop especially if you add lots of ballast for wakeboarding , as it will get you on plane. I run about 37mph at 5000rpm with the 1579. I really like the 537 as a combination prop. I can go about 40mph at 5000rpm but still wakesurf with 2000# of ballast in the boat no problem. I think my engine is at about 3000rpm wakesurfing with the 537. Measure the distance from the tip of your prop to the hull and see how much room you have. I think that you need 1/2" clearance minimum which is what the 13.5" diameter props give.
  11. platform problems

Can you post up some pictures of these "broken brackets" please.
  12. Man my upper back is sore from getting pulled out of the water after all of my 360 attempts. Check out the sequenced pictures below. I do not have the "crash" picture. I think on this attempt I fell backwards as I was trying to get the front of the board up, though on most of my wipeouts I am diving into the water when I am 3/4's of the way around.
  13. Osoyoos This Weekend?

IROC, here is the little clip of our attempt at a dual boat surf session:
  14. Osoyoos This Weekend?

Here is a picture of the "dunes" in Osoyoos on Friday.
  15. What's your boat's top speed?

With an Acme 537 prop we hit about 40mph at 5000rpm and with a 1579 it goes about 37mph at 5000rpm.
  16. Osoyoos This Weekend?

IROC, that was awesome surfing together last weekend. Too bad the water was crazy choppy when we tried dual boat surfing. Maybe another time we will get a chance to try it. I will post up our video when I get a chance. I have not yet landed a 360. I would get all the way around but was at the back of the wave and could not keep riding. I am close, maybe a couple hundred more attempts I did spin a full 720 once on our skim board and was in the same location where I would finish a 360 on my surf board and could not continue to ride. Man does the Phase 5 DD board spin fast. I think I saw you towing your boat up on the 7th when we were headed back to Victoria. I might be interested in your Towanza board if you are looking to upgrade.
  17. Centurion Enzo Max Capacity

I do not think there was a change in the hull design. The early models had their weight listed at 3500 pounds and the newer models list at 4400# but they were the same boat. I peeled off the 12 person sticker in my 07 SV230 and asked Centurion to issue a 14 person decal for my boat and they did "no questions asked"! They must have done some testing to the later models to approve this.
  18. Are you guys using the sealing compound on your new gaskets? Are you putting any on the bolts as well?
  19. Cowichan Lake ...

Shawnigan Lake is closer to Victoria and seems to have more boaters hanging out and partying on the lake. It is not as big as Cowichan but the water is warmer. The main ramp (goverment Wharf) is a pain for large boats like ours so it is best to launch from the ramp on Recreation Road.
  20. Cowichan Lake ...

We spend lots of time at Lake Cowichan. It is a nice big lake that has amazing clear cold water. Last Saturday the water tempurature was about 21'c (71 F). Other than the cold water the only real down side to the lake is that it is usually windy and choppy. If you want to ride you have to get out early in the day or late in the day.
  21. Has anyone had stripped screws on there bimini brackets. I was putting the bimini on my Enzo for the third time ever (new boat) and noticed that one of the brackets was loose. Tried to tighten it up but there was no threads in the tower for grip. What should I do for the best results?
  22. Canada Day Long Weekend Pics

I am thinking of selling my Phase 5 Drew Danielo Pro Carbon board to get another surf style board. If anyone is interested in it I live in Victoria but will be in Osoyoos August 1-7 if you want to try it out.
  23. I added a coarse thread screw in the same hole last night and it seems to work. I added thread lock to it as well. The tower wall material is so thin that there are not a lot of threads to grab.
