2012 Carbon Pro Depth Finder/Temp gauge not working
pauld replied to pauld's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Update for anyone who cares or who may go through this in the future. I gave the part number (44-146-20-1) and customer part number (7050-15000-03) to AIRMAR. They said this is a custom made part for Medallion and directed me to speak with them. Medallion's response was that they thought it could be a bad ground so I am currently checking into that... -
Trailer Brakes
pauld replied to lifesvr's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
@poidog1 the VM trailer website actually has a good article in the tech section on the UFP actuator that your trailer likely has. Its pretty easy to pump but you will need two people to do the job - one person to pump and one to close and open the brake bleeder - unless you have a one man kit of course... -
Trailer Brakes

Suck out your reservoir and put new fluid in. Then flush the lines with new fluid. I do this every two years to keep my brakes from needing to be fixed. Much cheaper than new master cylinders, etc. -

Wow - this is not easy to trouble shoot. I finally got the transducer part number off the cable (44-146-20-1) but now I can't what model the transducer (the tag says Smart IDT-N2000). The head unit is a medallion. -

this link is pretty good at describing what you need to do. http://www.vmboattrailers.com/images/UFP_Hydraulic_Brake_Actuators.pdf -
Hi, We have recently purchased a 2012 Carbon Pro. The depth finder/temp readout is not working properly. The depth is just dashes (ie doesn't read a number) and the temperature read low (both water and air). Any ideas on where I should start? Thx, Paul
