If I nab a 2008 SV230 am I going to have a fight on my hands to get a proper goofy wave?

Good discussion guys. The crew will typically be my wife and I plus our two small kids - I ride goofy and she is regular, but we are just starting out. That being said we surfed a FS-22 on the weekend and did well with it slammed pretty good and the kids manged to stay in the boat (seemed like the FS-22 did not have much free board either) I think I would rather have the Enzo myself - but the spread in price makes it selling to my already skeptical wife even harder. But once a guy dumps a bunch of cash to get the AVY up to a similar standard, it might start to become a wash. Once again - Thanks all!

Gotcha - I have been doing some digging, but of course it is like anything now a days - information overload. No sweat though though I will get it dialed.

Yeah I figured as much on the ballast. I was thinking 1100 rear lockers and 650 under the seats (both sides) and a couple 400's with tsunami to throw around. I would like to keep the fill/drain times down - so obviously will need to add at least one pump. Any idea what the pump set up was on that model year AVY? I have yet to actually get over to see the boat since it 8 hours away.

The Avalanche is a C4.

Yeah hard to justify the price tag differnce was what I was thinking too.
