  1. According to my dealer mechanic it is easy to over tighten the bolts.
  2. I would like to share what I have done with my SV233 with CATS and RamFil. I do not have the additional plug and play sacs except in the bow and we seldom have a large crew on board. I have added hard weight plates as used in a weight lifting set. I use 45 or 25 LB. weights. These weights are pretty thin and the 25's can fit in the small area on the sides. In addition, I have 3-4 45's in the rear lockers. I take the weights and cover with a plastic bag and then waterproof duct tape. I cover the weights to prevent any chance of rust from the weight getting in and on the boat carpet. This isn't for everyone, but I have my boat on a lift at my lake house. Ido not trailer the boat and do not go any distance to surf. The big advantage to my system is the use of the rear lockers at all times.
  3. I had the Ramfill intake valves replaced a few weeks ago and there was no need to modify the wiring. They install the new heavier duty valves as a replacement.
  4. 110 lbs.....wow. You are not moving those very often. Where did you get them?
  5. If I were you I would check what is included as part of each boat. If they are equipped with the same features, then the bow configuration is the main difference. I may be wrong, but I thought the 230 usually had fewer features. I know some people love the 230 wave the best, but my 233 rocks and I like the added cockpit space. People seldom ride in the bow in my boat.
  6. Does anyone know what the specs on the high altitude prop are for a 2014 sv233?
  7. that is a good thing. I just had a failure of one fill gate in the open position. This was easy to use the manual shut off and still use the boat.
  8. I have spoken with Shane Allison and he says to leave quick fills in open position when out of the water.
  9. I trailered my boat with 600 pounds or so and all went fine. the flat nature of the weights doesn't create a problem
  10. New board

My link doesn't work, what board is it?
  11. I stand corrected. I didn't mean to put out misinformation.
  12. I have found that through the years it is good insurance to have a spare impeller if needed.
  13. It is for sale at Nautiques of Orlando.
  14. I do not have to tow or travel far with my boat and I added hard weight because I can keep my storage space. If interested, see this thread http://www.centurioncrew.com/index.php/topic/9667-adding-hard-weights-with-ramfil
  15. There is absolutely no question as to which boat I would choose, the SV233 period. Unless there has been a change in cockpit from the FX22 to the FS22 the cockpit in the 233 is much more spacious. I have ridden the 22 and it needs a lot more weight to make it great. I am not a fan. If you were doing wakeboarding and surfing the 22 might be better. my .02
  16. I am not sure of the reason for the electronic ball valve unless it is a replacement for a manual shut off. When I installed system years ago, I had a manual shut of at the thru hull fitting and then a direct lines to the pumps. I installed a two way switch for forward and reverse on the pumps.
  17. I am curious if anyone has had a 5 blade prop made for their Enzo? I have a 2014 233 and am curious about gas consumption and performance. I ordered witht ehy high altitude prop and it works fine. I just am always looking to make things better. thanks
  18. I think I am currently running an Acme 1617. I run 332-3400 rpms while surfing port and 28-3100 surfing Starboard side. I burn about 6.5 gph.
  19. I exchanged emails with Greg from Acme and he said to stick with what I have, which is the high altitude prop that came with the boat I ordered. He basically said the buzz over 5 blade propshas died down and testing results are mixed.
  20. I talked with Acme and they do not recommend a 5 blade prop.
  21. I noticed my left REV 10 speaker was not functioning as it should. I switched left and right RCA's with no change and then I switched the output wires to the speakersand the same speaker worked. Throughout all of this I am getting s slight amount of sound out of the speaker in question, but it will not go up or down or have any real volume. I think I have eliminated the amp or equalizer as the issue. I reattached the speaker wires at the amp and so it seems like it must be either the wire itself or something in the speaker. Can I check the connection at the speaker? How do I do that? Other thoughts?
  22. All is working now. I am not sure what was wrong or what I did. oh well. Thanks to those who tried to help me.
