Just hook a buoy to the handle,nothing attached to the boat . If it comes off circle around and pluck it out of the water..

Your only gonna run the suckgate slightly listed.so the list will be a non issue.i wouldn't worry about the bow first get more weight on that surf side..

800# rear port locker 360# port side seat storage 200# lead port storage area 250# on top of port seat 250# bow if needed You could use suckgate if you want to keep the boat level if not slam it and speed up a bit...not sure if the 04 had the hull cut outs?

Yep your right it's 23 min longer drive,but camping for a week cost $100 well worth it in my opinion????
