  1. 17’ S238 surf setups

Last season a had major issues making a consistent regular wave which i found odd. I changed my prop to an Acme 2247 (15x14.25) to lower the insane RPM's i was having. Added midship bags. I like a lot of list my setup now... REGULAR Quick Fill - 100% port / 0% Starboard PNP - 100% port and starboard (1100 fat sacs) + 250lbs lead each side stuffed as far back as possible Under midship seats - 100% port side 370lb fat sac / 0% starboard side 370lb fat sac 200lbs lead on the floor on the port side Trim - 50 Quick Surf - set to 90ish give or take to clean up the wave Speed - 11.2 /11.5 RPM is around 3600 wave is really tall and super long with a lot of push. GOOFY Quick Fill - 0% port / 100% Starboard PNP - 100% port and starboard (1100 fat sacs)+ 250lbs lead each side stuffed as far back as possible Under midship seats - 0% port side 370lb fat sac / 100% starboard side 370lb fat sac 200lbs lead on the floor on the starboard side Trim - 60 Quick surf - somewhere arounf 80-90 Speed - 11.3 Rpm is around 3500 wave is ridiculous.. better than the regular in my eyes
  2. My seat does have the flip-up thing but its still kinda sucky. On my FS22 it was nice because you could slide the seat up and kinda stand lean on it. I guess i'm just used to what i like.
  3. I think this is the model of seat in the 2017 S238, you would just need to figure out what size would fit you best and replace the base. 278 Pro Series Pedestal System
  4. The seat sucks on my 17 238. I have the seat slid back all the way and i really have to watch that i don't scratch my calf on the metal rail the seat slides on at times. I also am 6'2" and cant see over the windshield when sitting down and have to stand most of the time. Swivl-eze is the maker of the seat so i think i may try to find an extension to add that may raise the seat up higher.
  5. Reinforcing Engine Divider ?

I have a 2015 FS22 and had both sides cave in on me with the factory pnp rear locker bags, Centurion fixed it under warranty with no questions asked. I don't have any pictures of the fix but they did remove the factory setup and installed custom made support bars. Its very solid and is a heavier grade than what was in there before. Love the Centurion Brand support!
  6. My RI237 has arrived!

In the first picture of this thread is see you have "speaker soxs" on your tower, are they factory......... i hope or did you get them made? Thanks
  7. Called them, Jim said it would be a few weeks yet before he starts making them.
  8. I have checked the speakersox website for Centurion Downfire speaker covers but no luck so far, can someone point me in the right direction. Cant seem to find any for the life of me, i have tried to contact speakersox but nothing so far. Thanks
  9. Or try to import one from Canada, your dollar is very strong right now and could get a good deal http://www.kijiji.ca/v-powerboat-motorboat/lloydminster-ab/2014-centurion-avalanche-22-huge-off-season-savings-40k-off/1044398201?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true im sure there are other ones, but this is just an example.
  10. Soulcraft Boarding Co.

Jeff got back to me today, all is well and he is waiting on some other stuff to happen before he ships my fins. All is good in the hood with my order once he gets the UPS thing under control.
  11. Soulcraft Boarding Co.

Thanks for the replies, I know i have many months to go until i can hit the lake but not getting a response from Jeff about getting calls from UPS about shipments being wrong is my issue, i have tried many times to email and call and left messages each time (not dickish messages). I understand he may be busy but I'm a huge believer in service and this is a little over the top. The whole point of this thread was not to have a big blow-out over a minor issue but to maybe have someone let him know what is going on since i can't seem to get a response other ways. I'm sure Jeff will get me my fins someday but all i want is some correspondence of some sort so i know i have not been forgotten. Thanks
  12. Has anyone noticed or heard of problems with the Soulcraft Boarding Co. business practices or how they respond to issues in shipping etc?, I have had nothing but problems getting the product i ordered and paid for (2 Honu Boards). After 4 months i finally got the boards 1 week before Christmas, was a present for my wife. But have yet to get the fins for both boards, the "Shipping Kid" messed up the order when shipping the boards and shipped some other guys boards with my fins in the box so it was reversed back to Soulcraft which put it behind again, then yesterday i get a call from UPS about a shipment that needs to clear customs which i think are the fins..... WRONG ( i live in Canada). The address was in Ontario and was for some other guy but had my phone number on the UPS tracking number, i live in Alberta. I have tried to call and email Jeff to many times to count but have yet to get a response. He did say he broke his ankle which was one of the reasons for the delay to start with though the boards were done before he broke his ankle. Im really hoping that posting here will get a response because I'm starting to get really pissed off and will be escalating this issues of not receiving my product to my credit cards attention. The boards seem fine and the workmanship is great but the business end of his shop needs some serious work.
  13. Hello All, Just hoping that someone can point me in the right direction, I'm looking for speaker covers (neoprene or sock type), dosnt matter. The bugs get inside the speaker that is facing the bow when traveling, it really bad.
