  1. bolted on, 3 bolts on each side of the tab. At 0%, it's flush with the bottom of the hull, perfect fit
  2. Modifications are done and the wake is incredible. So I added 2x750lbs to replace the port and starboard hard tanks (250lbs), got the new Ronix 400lbs quick fill bag which i place on the seat behind the driver, 250lbs center full always. For the plate, i ordered the new A-Plate centurion has on the enzos, had the mounts lasered off so you ended up with just the plate and no brackets left and bolted it underneath on my existing bennett trim tab. Results are amazing since the enzo A plate is a good 4 inches longer than the tab. (if only i could figure out how to place pictures on this site...) Trim at 60% to 80%, speed between 9.2 and 9.8 (We'll get better and speed up) and the wake was just perfect goofy cleanliness. <insert angels singing here>
  3. Boat names

Just got mine over the winter, didn't think about till now but i know what i'm going to name her: "SHE SAID NO"
  4. Will be splurging with an FAE system too I think. Small kids, trying wake, trying surf, tubing, lost of time spent at the back so if we can decrease risks of CO - why not. Plus i really like the noise reducing bonus, you can guide the kids without coughing up a lung Just spoke to www.freshairexhaust.com and they'll be having a 60$ promo launching soon. I was reading about a 100$ rebate on CCrew forum but this ship has sailed and was on 2013 inventory only. Now for the bonus question: Anyone installed FAE AND APlate on an elite? you guessed it, i'm worried about trim tab clearance...
  5. That's what Centurion said, i asked if there was any chance the new A Plates on the 2014 Enzo would fit and it wouldn't (angle is different). I'll get this puppy done up while we thaw up here and post pic upon install.
  6. Are you saying the factory installed actuator might not be sturdy enough?
  7. Here's Bennett response: "No, we currently do not offer this type of retrofit to any wakeplate & or trim system, since the deadrise angle will change with every vessel. Also, the off center stress on the actuator and the wakeplate mounting will cause issues with the installation & operation of the system." I get the argument on variety of plates they'd have to carry, but at surf speeds (10-12mph), I'm not sure I buy the off center argument. Funny enough, they proceed to ask if I've already tried it and what where the results as they think it might be a neat idea. $$$ Really? Might want to protect that pdf plate design...patents and royalties at play here
  8. Thanks Darkside, we've got to prove it's not all 'bout hockey up here Eh? Look forward to see how you set it up on your Elite!!! Will ping Bennett to see if they know anything about this APlate and if they can help - figured it would be worth a shot. 4 more weeks till spring, 4 more weeks till spring....I think i'll be out there the minute thawing starts to get tweaking this puppy. Thanks for all the help - I probably owe a few RAK's by now.
  9. Thanks Troy, awesome info on this thread. Is it summer yet?
  10. Dude - I wish! We're on lake Muskoka (north of Toronto), my ride is wrapped up and not ready for poses yet...till May We need this global warming thing to kick into gear up here...
  11. Any link you can throw my way on which one to get? might try to have it setup this spring before we put the boat out in the water. thks!
  12. I'll have to be nice LOL - read about duct tape somewhere else, i'm guessing this is the downside of the Elite V and it needs to ride tush to the water to get op a good wave. Hadn't thought about the starboard seat. Thanks for the tip!
  13. Hey Guys, new to the forum and been learning so much. Keep up the awesome posts !!! Just bought a 2011 elite V - Enzo's we're out of range this time around and here's the upgrade plan for this spring: - 750lbs upgrades in rear lockers - 650 lbs integrated bow - 400 lbs roller (to place port or starboard), we'll ride light, 4/5 people, 2 kids - factory Center 250lbs Boat comes with Bennett tab but I'm reading about A plates (you guessed it, I'm on the dark side...) worth it? What am I missing? (Besides moving the lake we're on 2000 miles south...) Any advice appreciated. Cheers.
