T BONE

yup Dave I did the tranny cooler, it was one of the first things suggested by duramat. so..... took it out today after all the hose removing and flushing and still have the same result. next im going to sand the impeller cover and change the t-stat. to be continued...............

took all my hoses off and found what appears to be chunks of metal on the starboard side manifold right where the smaller hose and drain plug connect to manifold. back flushed everything and got more of this stuff out. confused on what it is because it doesn't stick to a magnet.????

yeah it is a BIG temp difference. my temp goes up over 175 when idling but drops below when under power. if the temp difference wasn't so big I guess I wouldn't worry about it.

so, I took the hose off by the tranny cooler filter. found a clump of weeds stuck in there. took it out on the water and Have the same result, one side hot one side cool.

not overheating hot, I can hold my hand on it. that side also seems to be putting out less water when running. (starboard )

still freaked out. just hooked it up to water in driveway and it only took a couple minutes for one side to heat up and the other is cold?? still normal????

I have an 07 elite v, changed my impeller and noticed that one manifold is hot and one is cool while running. the old impeller was not in pieces so whats causing the temperature difference?? not overheating either.

Ok, here it is. The top looks ok but the inside is a bit ugly. Mine had been fixed with epoxy previously but the whole back lip broke off this time. I'm definitely not a machinist but it works and it should last.

I'm in process of fixing mine with stainless steel angle and a backer plate.

I've got a 07 elite v c4 and the glove box lid is broke off. I called a dealer and they want $225.00 plus shipping just for the lid. Anyone know if I can get one somewhere else???
