I still don't see why everybody thinks the 420 makes the HU obsolete? I like having all the options. Majority of time we use a USB drive with HU control and functioning transom remote (wife on board) ) So having zone control and mic over towers is a great function and still full use of remotes. If I want I can pair my android phone to the HU and use playlist from there with remote function. If I don't care about using the remotes I can just pair the BTVC to my phone and change SRC on the WS420 and bypass the HU all together. Each system can be setup based on the owner/user's priorities. Quite frankly I wanted options and love that I'm not tied to any one way!

I'm afraid they will just throw stuff together here at last minute. Probably won't get a quality job if the job gets done at all????? I would be fuming and quite frankly am a little mad right now and it's not even my boat! I've had dealer issues of my own in the past so that's why I do most everything on my own. But warranty works and such you need to use them. Damned if you do Damned if you don't . Praying for a positive ending

It's really not that difficult!! ACME definitely knows about it because a couple of us have already called and talked to them. And they know their SH!T when it comes to the right prop. The disconnect is with the dealers and corporate and in most cases neither knows whats going on (unless you are working with Hillside or NW Boat Sports) Don't know why fineline would be sending out any other prop than the 2 recommended by ACME. I can only speculate that it might be what they are using now with the 2016s and new motor/tranny combo??

I figured something was up as you were pretty quiet about everything and you certainly weren't taking your old boat out at all. And that's not NORMAL It'll turn out great and you'll love it but waiting is the hard part!

LOL sorry! Ya I totally read it the other way. But you are right they never come glued in the box. I'm with you too in that I've never glued them before with any problems. So thought it odd when they were so serious about cementing them in until I really thought about it I think its more CYA Plus it makes it so much easier to change them out.

My stock bags fittings came glued in!! Also worth mentioning I talked to Mike Seipel directly at Barefoot Int'l and they recommend gluing in the fittings. I'm sure they do it for liability purposes so it doesn't accidentally come loose or out and flood the boat??? Just speculating on the reason but they were pretty adamant about doing it.

cant' talk to the 238 but the 226 is finicky for sure. Doesn't seem to bother them but it bothers me!! My 10 year old and 8 year old boarded last summer and it does clean up at faster speeds but starboard side is washy a slower speeds. I have yet to hear from anybody if the A-plate would help or not as I'm thinking about that mod for my kids.

If you get Quicksurf then switching will be fast. However best wake is usually accomplished listing. I personally like the gator grip better than carpet. But I wanted Deckadence and it's not an factory option. So ordered with base carpet and used the GG upgrade $$ for purchase of deckadence mat.
