Has anyone had this before. I am trying to swap out my stock 13x17.5 497 with a 13.5x16 537. It rubs on the prop gaurd. I have a 2006 Avalnche C4 on a Boatmate trailer. I spoke to Jim at ACME and he said the boat should have no problem with this prop or any 13.5" prop. I spoke to Shell at Fineline and she said that was an option for that boat so it must be a problem with my trailer. Has anyone had this before, and if so any idea how to correct? The bunkers are welded so either the boards have compressed or I will need to shim the back???

Great ideas everyone. I really only need about 1/2 inch. I will check the wooden boards this weekend if they are compressed. I think I will just replace them anyway. I was really planning on doing that next winter. I think if I just shim up the rear about 1/2 to 3/4 inches it will not interfear with the launching as the ramps hear are pretty steep and the rear always floats up on launch. I am also thinking of cutting off the metal back wheels. They are always dragging and I can't get the boat up in my driveway. Is this going to be a problem? Am I crazy, I see most trailers don't even have them.

Ordered the stuff to replace the stock tanks on my 2006 Avy C4. A couple of Johnson pumps to fill a couple Jumbo 1100 lb sacs in the rear lockers. I hear of people covering the sideswipes. Can those be ordered? I would rather make them, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, instructions, or better yet pictures. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Pictures Replace a 1000 words. That's down right pretty good right there. Looks big to cover the side swipes, but I will give it a shot. Took it to the lake last week and it all worked with just one pump wired backwards. No leaks!! Just cleaning up the wires today, and switched the wires on that one pump . Thanks to KnuckleDragger, BigCat and all the other blogs in this forum that guided me through this project

Bought my 2006 AVY last summer and ready to upgrade ballast, prop, and speakers. Does anyone know when the crew store will start up for this year. Saw alot a deals in the past, but nothing recent. Sure would like to start today.

I was refering more to the Crew Deals like they had last year on the Acme props, or the 20% off Wetsounds, Anything like that coming? Is it too early in the season?
