  1. The vent does get close sometimes but you'd have to have everyone sitting on that side to do it. We've never had a problem with it. It's also shaped so that as long as you're driving it would deflect overtop of the vent. You can fine tune the wave with as much lip as you want. The A-plate will control steepness and cats will clean it up. This wave has 3x the push and adjustability of any mastercraft or tige I've ridden.
  2. We just measured one and didn't write it down. We have a 24' garage and the 33 would just fit but not with Quicksurf. . You'll have to take the platform off for both but it's easy. The fs33 was just under 24' to the end of the extended a plate. The quick surf tabs add another 4" more than the A plate. 25' will fit either fine.
  3. Coming soon... order, ALMOST up

You still have push button start in the 2014. I wasn't convinced on the digital gauges in the 15. They look really nice but Malibu has had them for years and it used to be if they went out you were dead in the water. May have changed by now.
  4. If you can find a 2014 with bags instead of ram fill you'll get quite a bit more weight. Not sure what the boat Dark rode had in it but our wave is equally as good on both sides. CATS is a must. I wouldn't get a boat without it. Makes a huge difference. Watch out for the early ram fill valves if they haven't been replaced by the dealer yet.
  5. Coming soon... order, ALMOST up

$28,000 difference from the trade in on the fx22. Extra freeboard is nice but maybe not that nice. Never taken a wave over the front or back. The Goofy wave is awesome on the fx22. Easy to get excited about the latest and greatest for me.
  6. Coming soon... order, ALMOST up

Dark. What was your all in Canadian price? We almost upgraded the fx22 for the 33 a few weeks ago. Price was $107 CAD including GST. That was loaded with everything except the triple axle trailer. Also included quick surf. Maybe worth a call to Calgary. You might be able to avoid the hst too.
  7. According to my dealer the factory is offering Quicksurf for free until the end of the month on new orders. Maybe look into that.
  8. Seems as though the Centurion "no gimmicks, no bolt ons" Facebook post has been deleted.
  9. By "owners packet" do you mean the photocopied corner stapled pages and the 5 year old outdated safety book?
  10. Apparently some insurance companies won't insure boats with large ballast so they don't publish the correct numbers.
  11. Hey Fullspeed, We've got the 2014 FX22. Our garage is 24' long builder specs, which actuall measures 23' 4" clear span. Remember to take into account the ribs in the door if you've got a roll up. We had to go with the Aegis tower on our 2014 for height. Even with our 8' high door. At 23'4" it fits with the door closed and 1" to spare. You'll have to take the platform off and pull the pin from the A-Plate. We cut a hole in the wall so we didn't have to pull the plate pin each time. It's difficult to give an exact measurement of the boat but your absolute minimum clear space you need is 23'4". We had to put a clause in our contract to make sure it fit. Centurion couldn't even give us the proper measurements. Hope this helps.
  12. Testing FX22 goofy settings

Too bad you didn't have more time. Too bad they didn't have a bag setup instead of ramfill. It holds much more weight. With all the bags full there's not a single square inch if space left in the lockers or under the seats. It's a pretty big difference compared to ramfill in the fx22.
  13. Testing FX22 goofy settings

We can run ours down to 10 without the wave crashing. 10.5 to 10.8 is our standard speed for port.
  14. Testing FX22 goofy settings

Personal preference I guess. I like the extra push from the steeper wake for spins. Defiantly much harder to come off the lip though. I've been playing around with loading a lot of counter weight in the port. Port quick fill and 50% in the port pro bag with around 0-20% in the bow. You only need to run the tab around 30 this way and cats pulls it over. Tons of push with the extra counter weight. I'll shoot it with my wide angle gopro so the wake looks 45' long and then you'll have to buy one.
  15. Testing FX22 goofy settings

So the second week of weather on vacation was bad but I did a couple of quick videos on Hillside and nasmith342's setttings. I forgot to shoot my settings but will do that later. Overall impression was that they were both good surf style waves. Surfing skim, I would add some more height but that's just my personal opinion. http://vimeo.com/104629087 Not sure why this one won't embed. http://vimeo.com/104629595
