  1. iPhone 5 connection

I have a RV-Dock for the old style iPhone\iPod for my sound system. I have done a little searching but cannot find a new dock for the small iPhone 5 connection. Is there one, or do I need to use an adaptor cable for now?
  2. iPhone 5 connection

I have one of those, but is there a new dock for the lighting plug? I like the clean look of putting the iphone in the dock not having a cord comming out of the dock and the iphone bouncing arround in the glove box.
  3. Last summer I had to go down a dirt road to access a local lake. It left some small round chips in the bow gel coat. I can see the base color (white) through the top color (black) but no evidence of hull damage. Is there an easy fix for these kind of chips, or do I have to take the boat somewhere to have them refinish? I also started to clean off the SS around the boat with a SS cleaner but stopped after a few pieces in fear that the SS cleaner would damage the seats or gel coat. Are any SS cleaners ok to use or is there one that is better than the others? I also noticed some brown stuff around the engine door on the black marine carpet . How do I clean this off and how do I avoid it happening in the future? Thanks, Bryan
  4. I have our Lake Powell trip booked for this year from July 26th thru August 2nd. We pick up our house boat at Bullfrog, had to rent one since my buddies is booked with one of his partners that week. We hope to go once more with them at some time. Have not been in about 6 years but we did go once or twice a year back then. If anyone else is planning a trip out there at that time I would be up for getting togather. Any suggestions or about Powell trips? Good coves location Good day trips Best gas prices (or how to get gas to the site) New regulations I need to know about (I will be bringing my boat from Colorado to Powell) I have a prop that should work at Powell, bought the boat from sea level, but is there anything else I need to think about with the engine? Any other suggestions or comments are all welcome, thx

Can you access your outlook through Outlook Web Access (OWA)? Usually somthing like this https://mail.yourcompanywebsite.com/owa
  6. Not sure why, but when I do a search nothing comes up. So I am sure this has been addressed before, sorry. I bought my boat last spring from an owner who took great care of it, '07 216 ENZO. I really want to keep up the tradition and I am good with car maintenance but a complete newbie to boat maintenance. I am guessing that everyone can help me with a list of items that I will need to check every fall and spring. Along with a good step by step basic how-to for these items, with product suggestions. I live in an area where I will be buying all of my supplies online, unless they are something that is available from a typical auto parts store. And the nearest boat shop is about 2+ hours away. I store my boat in a heated garage all winter, so a full winterization is not necessary in the fall(I think/hope). A list of items I am guessing need to be checked/changed or replaced; Engine oil Oil filter Water pumps (engine and ballast) Transmission oil (or gear box I think) Battery condition and charge (they have been on a trickle charger/conditioner most of teh winter) Trailer brakes Trailer tire grease Items I am not to sure about; Maintenance for the location where the drive shaft goes through the bottom hull Other areas within the hull that are not typically visible Will a "Fake A Lake" allow me to run the engine for a limited time or run ballast pumps for testing? Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks for the offer kgor, we come over to Denver a couple of times a year since you get summer before we do
  8. Almost forgot, I got some Scotch Gard carpet protector, has anybody tried this before?
  9. When to Wal-Mart and Home Depot today and got my supplies for the weekend; Rain-X Mothers Tire Cleaner Small brush to clean under the seats And something to help with the hair in the carpet, not sure what it is called but the best thing I have found for getting the dog (and wife) hair out of the carpet. Carpet looked pretty good but after 2 or 3 swipes with this thing it looked a lot better (and it picked up a ton of hair). The soap I used in the green machine was; I also found this stuff to help with the chrome cleaning; I also have some fabric cleaner and protectant coming from an online order to clean and protect the bimie top and the cover. I used Babes seat saver all last year, it was all I could find around here, and it seemed to work pretty good. Weekend project update on Sunday night.....
  10. My weekend list is getting longer and longer. I will take a look at everthing mentioned here and post sunday night how it all went. Thanks and keep em comming.
  11. Ok, I tried my little green machine and it works great....where it can reach. I still have mildew right next to where the cover is attached to the underside. Next idea is to get somthing like a finger nail brush, small and some what stiff , then spray the carpet cleaner as needed, brush and wash off with a hose. This may take a little longer but I believe the end result will be better.
  12. Pack, I have spare impellers, knocking on wood, none of them needed replacement last year. Should I go ahead an replace them before the start of this year? Or at least inspect them, and how would I tell if I should replace one? dez, your list is great. A couple of dumb questions; 1) where is the strainer usually for the ballast system? Not sure I have seen one. 2) where is the water separation filter? This is for the fuel line I am guessing.
  13. We have a small carpet cleaner (The Green Machine I think) that I picked up the cleaner solution for today. I am going to try and work on it a little tonight, if not I will be working on it over the weekend. I will post before and after shots with an update tonight or Saturday.
  14. My project for next winter is a new sound system, it will be fun. Pretty sure wetsounds will be the way I go.
  15. LOL, the wife just came home with a bottle of hot sauce. I asked her what it was for, since it would be the first time in 11 years we had hot sauce in the house, and she said "the boat honey". "I was walking by your computer and saw that some one said to use it on your windshield" She is a good woman , and at least I saw it before she decided to be helpful and spread it all over the windshield .
  16. This may be one of those dumb questions but....My windshield is plastic right? not glass. And what will get it clean and clear again. I have used simple green on it before but it never stays clean and spot free for longer than two minutes.
  17. I store my boat in my garage after every use with all engine doors open and the seats on shelves (I installed shelves along the garage wall at the height of the boat so I can easly reach them when I am in the boat). We also take out all wetsuites and life jackets and hang them on hangers to dry. All water toys are also removed from the boat and stored on their own shelf. Everthing that is removed from the boat is stored far enough away from the boat so that water is not dripping into the boat. Where I boat they have zebra mussel issues http://nas.er.usgs.gov/taxgroup/mollusks/zebramussel/ so the hull of my boat is always dry after I take out, and inspected by our local game warden or parks employee. And on top of all that I leave in a DRY climate. So how would the mold get on my carpet and what else can I do to prevent it?
  18. Stainless Steel and I would guess mildew. I never store the boat wet and it is always stored in a dry heated garage with the engine doors open for venting.
  19. My bow cup holders pop up when the bow sac is full. Great little visual assist when filling.

Hijack.....how do you both get up?
  21. Nice!! I checked the centurion site and it looks like you can order the sun deck without the raised sections, I agree with wakesurfer in that they look uncomfortable. It also looks like the rear hinges are small for all that they are holding. So if you have the center bow cushion in, there are no drinkm holders in the bow? Love the rear drink holders and the full length mid step to the swim platform. Where are the mid and bow ballast located? I am lloking at the new Enzo SV230 plus as my next boat, hopefully this spring!
  22. July picture thread

What is a good size for pictures to be uploaded as?
  23. I have two 1100 fat sacks, each with their own ballast puppy for draining. One works great but the other stops pumping every once in awhile. The pump is still running and if I take out the cartage and let a little water gravity feed out and reinsert the cartage it works fine again. Any ideas? My guess would be a air pocket so the pump needs to be primed but it happens with the bag full as well as almost empty, so how would a air pocket occur? And shouldn't the pump 'auto' prime by gravity since the sac is above the pump? (happens while in motion and at rest).
