  1. iPhone 5 connection

I have one of those, but is there a new dock for the lighting plug? I like the clean look of putting the iphone in the dock not having a cord comming out of the dock and the iphone bouncing arround in the glove box.
  2. iPhone 5 connection

I have a RV-Dock for the old style iPhone\iPod for my sound system. I have done a little searching but cannot find a new dock for the small iPhone 5 connection. Is there one, or do I need to use an adaptor cable for now?
  3. iPhone help - syncing email

Can you access your outlook through Outlook Web Access (OWA)? Usually somthing like this https://mail.yourcompanywebsite.com/owa
  4. Thanks for the offer kgor, we come over to Denver a couple of times a year since you get summer before we do
  5. Almost forgot, I got some Scotch Gard carpet protector, has anybody tried this before?
  6. When to Wal-Mart and Home Depot today and got my supplies for the weekend; Rain-X Mothers Tire Cleaner Small brush to clean under the seats And something to help with the hair in the carpet, not sure what it is called but the best thing I have found for getting the dog (and wife) hair out of the carpet. Carpet looked pretty good but after 2 or 3 swipes with this thing it looked a lot better (and it picked up a ton of hair). The soap I used in the green machine was; I also found this stuff to help with the chrome cleaning; I also have some fabric cleaner and protectant coming from an online order to clean and protect the bimie top and the cover. I used Babes seat saver all last year, it was all I could find around here, and it seemed to work pretty good. Weekend project update on Sunday night.....
  7. My weekend list is getting longer and longer. I will take a look at everthing mentioned here and post sunday night how it all went. Thanks and keep em comming.
  8. I have our Lake Powell trip booked for this year from July 26th thru August 2nd. We pick up our house boat at Bullfrog, had to rent one since my buddies is booked with one of his partners that week. We hope to go once more with them at some time. Have not been in about 6 years but we did go once or twice a year back then. If anyone else is planning a trip out there at that time I would be up for getting togather. Any suggestions or about Powell trips? Good coves location Good day trips Best gas prices (or how to get gas to the site) New regulations I need to know about (I will be bringing my boat from Colorado to Powell) I have a prop that should work at Powell, bought the boat from sea level, but is there anything else I need to think about with the engine? Any other suggestions or comments are all welcome, thx
  9. Ok, I tried my little green machine and it works great....where it can reach. I still have mildew right next to where the cover is attached to the underside. Next idea is to get somthing like a finger nail brush, small and some what stiff , then spray the carpet cleaner as needed, brush and wash off with a hose. This may take a little longer but I believe the end result will be better.
  10. Pack, I have spare impellers, knocking on wood, none of them needed replacement last year. Should I go ahead an replace them before the start of this year? Or at least inspect them, and how would I tell if I should replace one? dez, your list is great. A couple of dumb questions; 1) where is the strainer usually for the ballast system? Not sure I have seen one. 2) where is the water separation filter? This is for the fuel line I am guessing.
  11. We have a small carpet cleaner (The Green Machine I think) that I picked up the cleaner solution for today. I am going to try and work on it a little tonight, if not I will be working on it over the weekend. I will post before and after shots with an update tonight or Saturday.
  12. Not sure why, but when I do a search nothing comes up. So I am sure this has been addressed before, sorry. I bought my boat last spring from an owner who took great care of it, '07 216 ENZO. I really want to keep up the tradition and I am good with car maintenance but a complete newbie to boat maintenance. I am guessing that everyone can help me with a list of items that I will need to check every fall and spring. Along with a good step by step basic how-to for these items, with product suggestions. I live in an area where I will be buying all of my supplies online, unless they are something that is available from a typical auto parts store. And the nearest boat shop is about 2+ hours away. I store my boat in a heated garage all winter, so a full winterization is not necessary in the fall(I think/hope). A list of items I am guessing need to be checked/changed or replaced; Engine oil Oil filter Water pumps (engine and ballast) Transmission oil (or gear box I think) Battery condition and charge (they have been on a trickle charger/conditioner most of teh winter) Trailer brakes Trailer tire grease Items I am not to sure about; Maintenance for the location where the drive shaft goes through the bottom hull Other areas within the hull that are not typically visible Will a "Fake A Lake" allow me to run the engine for a limited time or run ballast pumps for testing? Thanks in advance.
  13. My project for next winter is a new sound system, it will be fun. Pretty sure wetsounds will be the way I go.
  14. LOL, the wife just came home with a bottle of hot sauce. I asked her what it was for, since it would be the first time in 11 years we had hot sauce in the house, and she said "the boat honey". "I was walking by your computer and saw that some one said to use it on your windshield" She is a good woman , and at least I saw it before she decided to be helpful and spread it all over the windshield .
