  1. trim tab removal

The center plate definitely help get up to plane a lot faster in a boat that is heavily weighted in the rear, however with a good amount of bow weight will overcome this also. I'm not so sure about all that at surf speeds however.....
  2. trim tab removal

Removed mine today, and will hopefully try it out in the next couple of weeks, i'm sick of our trashy starboard side wake and willing to give anything a try. So far the addition of strategically placed ballast hasn't proven overly successful. (2002 elite v).
  3. OK got a couple more 400's and a tsunami pump, Still winter down under but should get the boat out in the next few weeks. I'll let you all know what the outcome is..
  4. OK I'll try get some fly highs for the front there are some currently on ebay cheap here with pump. So am I right to say that the side of the boat which converges with the prop wash further away from the boat is sitting higher, and the side which hits the prop wash earlier is sitting deeper?
  5. OK guys it's been annoying me for quite a while now, where I cannot get my 2002 elite v to even up its wake. I have tried moving people everywhere, adjusting the rear plate, etc. Looking out from the rear of the boat the right hand side is ideal real rampy and unbroken, the left hand side however is a mess constantly washy. I decided to put some 400lb fly highs in the rear locker to sit the boat deeper in the water. I have no ballast in the front as yet. But no matter what I do the profiles of each side of the wake are completely different, I'm starting to think it may have something to do with the tracking plates, rudder, prop or bottom profile of the boat, any help will appreciated, Boat speed is at 22 mph. i'll try attach some videos and pics so you can see what i'm talking about (boat) (wake) video links (empty) (full)

  7. 02 elite v prop ?

Not sure if this will help at all but I found this site, it recommends what prop upgrade dependant on crew and ballast. It is specing malibu, but I have an 02 elite with a stock 3 blade 515 which is identical to the smaller malibu's. It may help.....http://www.wakeprops.com/wakeboard-boat-propeller-finder/malibu-wakeboard-boat-propellers
  8. ANYONE KNOW THIS BOAT

It has the factory center ballast, I believe on the two pump empty/fill sytem. However I'm probably going to install a set of 400lb Fly High V drive sacs. I'll probably just plumb them in with the current system for now, and look at putting and idependant reversible pump on each at a later date. I didn't check the bow seats, are they hollow underneath to hold a bow fat sac? We don't always have a big crew when we go out, so having an adjustable ballast system will help alot.
  9. ANYONE KNOW THIS BOAT

You are absolutely right, I checked the pics of this boat taken in the states before it was imported, then searched olinger marine's current stock. Turns out this boat was definately in the olinger marine w/shop/showroom, as the surroundings are identical (same spray booth, interior decorating etc). What can people tell me of olinger marine, they look to sell used craft of excellent quality, anyone had dealings with them?
  10. ANYONE KNOW THIS BOAT

Thanks for the reply, i'm looking at using the boat primarily for wakeboarding/wakeskating, as for surfing i'm lucky enough to have some great breaks not far from where I live. Thanks..
  11. Hey guys i'm new here and am located in Australia, and am looking at buying this 2002 elite. As it was an import from the states I thought it may be known around the traps, I believe it came from the westcoast but imported through a brooker in Idaho. I haven't seen many this color, and taking it for a test drive shortly. There are more pics on the following link.http://www.americanboatimports.com.au/2002%20Centurion%20Elite%20V%20Drive.html Cheers Guys....Can't wait to get a centurion on the water (not enough of them over here).
