18 Fi23 Fuel gauge reads empty when full
nwrider replied to X-MCer's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
Not sure if this helps, my 2018 ri 237 fuel gauge worked great. This year after summerized the boat and guage works when motor off, but when fires up, boat gauge goes to empty, called dealer said same thing, software issues and no resolves. no word from centurion -
2018 ri 237 385 hrs. pulled the boat out for another great season . filled her up, ran great, next day fuel guage on empty, topped it off and only took a few gallons. Called local dealer, said it was a software issues. Any body else having issues? When key not on it reads correct, when motor on , fuel gauges goes to empty.

we had the 2nd gen valteras put on our 2014 244. we have about 200 hrs this summer on it , one fill valve stays open a little, and upon inspection, the clip that holds the t handle to the opener falls out. and stays open. also the occasionally the rear t handles hit the engine compartment removable covers on side of engine and become unclipped and contiuonously drain. easy fix, zip tie t handle to acctuator for front fills rear, we roto zip our engine covers in the rear so incase of slipping.

Surf Board recs for 8&11 yr old daughters
nwrider replied to Nctta's topic in Watersports & Related Gear
i run a surf school and switch to kids under 110 lbs to a phase 5 scamp and put a 2.5 inch fin on it. IT makes it track better also we put stickers on it where there heels should go to start and on the other side where they need to move their toes to surf. works awesome -

sulfur smell
nwrider replied to nwrider's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
i went and google it. the alternator was overcharging battery, and no distilled water. filled it up but only had 10 volts of battery power. Probally 1 cell went bad and couldnt hold a charge. replaced battery no smell no fuss. -
after being in the high heat and the boat running for about 6 hrs, we got a sulfur smell coming from area maybe where the sub woofer is. any ideas?

we have a 2010 240 enzo, 750 hrs. just in the last two days both times after being on the lake all day. we run a surf school. I turned the boat off and parked it. We had to go fill it up as i turned the key to the on postion it buzzed like a "short" then turned the boat on. The dash display and both gaugess-speed and rpm. didnt work, neither did the power to the ballast tanks. lights were on the switches but would not pump or drain. We took the dash out made sure wires were ok. they were and then when we put it back it was fine. Also check all the fuses, and flip set fuses by the battery. nothing popped. then it happened again. This time the flip fuse under the dash was tripped, reset and worked fine. Any IDeas? ITs happened both times maybe coincendeses after someone unpluged thier ipod to the aux in the glove box. but i dont think so? No errors codes in the diagnostic part of the dash read out
