  1. Umbrella Insurance Policy

They are a must have, as far as I am concerned. Ours covers us for one million, and it includes anything that happens at our house, while in any of our cars, and also while in our boat. We also have 2 teenage drivers at the house too. The policy is like around 375/year. The one catch is in order to get it they make you up your normal car insurance to a min. of 250K per person, 500k per accident. Ken
  2. Video Of Wake with more ballast

Unable to get out to the lake today, got ordered to work mandatory overtime . Avy C4 Surfer, will look for ya next time, we hang out there alot during the summer, mine is Black and an off white, reminds me of Orca the Killer Whale. Anyway after surfing the net and seeing massive wave from ENZOs, I have decided to go big and order the ENZO Sac. WakeDoc, or anyone else please chime in on a few questions I have. 1. After pulling both hard tanks from the Port side, can I plum both the old pumps to the ENZO SAC? or do I need to only use only one? 2. Also you mentioned about the front bow sac. Once I have the ENZO Sac installed, what do you recommend keeping the front bow sac full while the ENZO is full? 3. I know I have to play with it, but what settings are you using for those of you that have the 240 with the SwitchBlade and speed with the above set up? thanks all, Stuck at work, while the weather will be close to 90 degrees at Don Pedro today, Ken
  3. removed the stock hard rear ballast tanks and replaced them with 750 fat sacs on each side, and also added a 750 bow sac in the front. In this video have the Port rear full along with the stock 250 lb port side full along with the bow 750 full. Switchblade is at 4 i think and at 11mph. much happier with wake now. Learning the ENZO240 need alot of weight to get the wake going......going out tomorrow and hopefully leaving the drysuits in the closet.... Heres the link of the wave we are throwing now, it was shot with my iphone as i forgot our camera... any input on making it better, or am i getting greedy........ Ken
  4. Babes in bikinis!

The pic of the sheriffs is at Don Pedro at the COVE, funny thing is we went back in there to check it out and we saw the boat with the poles, after a few minutes we see a sheriff pulling thru so we decided to leave due to all of our beverages we had onboard, as we motor out slowly we see them pull up next to the stripper boat, and they just sat there for 20 or so minutes just chatting with them, I never saw them ask for any normal paperwork they usually bug you about when they dock up next too you, or look for your fire ext. etc. Taxes dollars at work!!! I am by no means bashing these guys, I respect the hell out of them, and Im sure if was working as a Sheriff I would be doing the same thing!

And I thought I had a cool job!!!!
  6. Hey Gang, Well our 08' ENZO 240 has requested more ballast on his christmas list to Santa. He currently has the stock mid and read dual hard factory tanks along with the SwithBlade. This set up works excellent for us for Wake Boarding, But I feel we are not getting the full potential of our Wake for WakeSurfing. So looking for input what would be the best set up. 1. remove the rear tanks and install dual 750 Fat Sacs along with the 650 front Fat Sac. which would equal 750X2 in the back, 225X2 in the Mid, and the 650 in the front. 2. option is to remove both rear and mid tanks and install either 1 ENZO sac on the port side and then put a 750 sac on the StarBoard side, along with the 650 in the front. or should I consider just putting Enzo Sacs on both sides? Would this be too much? While looking in the rear compartments I noticed that the bags would have to sit on top of the SideSwipe Exhaust, I sure these get hot, do they make a cover for these? These are the options m looking out looking for input, or any other ideas Thanks In Advance Ken
  7. Hi all, switching out prop on a 2008 ENZO240 for the first time. Would like to make sure im doing this right. Removed carter pin backed off nut but still leaving it on so prop does not shoot ff question someone said to remove key? is this correct, if so how its deep in the channel ? I placed prop puller on and started to tightend it down, and im at a point where I am getting a lot of resistance, so I stopped and asking here Is this normal? Thanks in advance Ken
  8. The only time i have blown mine was when I was pulling the kids on the tube at a pretty good pace (lot faster than if i was pulling a boarder) and I decided to engage the SwithBlade to see what it would do for them. Im guessing at that rate of speed might have been to much for the blade to overcome?
  9. lights,evo tower

Roy, I know what you mean by the new boat old garage. I got really lucky, Ill have to post a pic the next time I pull mine out of the garage. Mine clears by no more than 1/4 of an inch!

Hey Fish, Why isnt that boat in the garage! ' As far as the switchblade is concerned, we are still learning how to play with it. But so far I really like it. Although I don't have anything to compare it too gotta be honest, prior to buying this boat we had never wakeboarded or surfed.(my friends tease me and say Im a 4 year old with a Ferrari) had been kinda saving up for a boat, had enough in savings to buy a decent used one. Then I just happened to stop by our local dealer last May, back when gas was 4.50 a gallon. This boat had all the options and was used for all the local boat shows. The previous year they had sold 48 boats in May. It was towards the end of May and they had only sold 1 boat, so they made me an awesome deal, put a big chunk down and have a loan for 7 years which I can handle. The only knock I have on the SwitchBlade, is its really hard at times to steer it into the ramp at times (this Im sure has a lot too do with me Im sure) but with the Blade it will not back up, it will turn while backing up. In the pic attached this is with the blade fully engaged and the 2 port side ballast filled, and traveling around 11mph. Been out twice this year already and have had a few more people in boat to weigh the port side down, along with a full tank and the wake is even bigger. I have seen much bigger wakes on this site and others, but for now this is just fine for us. Oh and back to the question about the TopCap, Im sure it gets hot, but it hasnt been an issue with us. Looking forward to an awesome summer! Kenny Ken

Thanks Smitty, for the compliment. Its actually our first boat. I waited a long time, but when I pull the trigger I pull hard! In regards to the Columbians question Top Cap with temps? Hate to show how green I am with this boat, but what do you mean by Top Cap?
  12. lights,evo tower

Heres a few pics of the lights which are on my boat. Have never really used them, they were on the boat when I bought it,,,just more BLING for me.

  14. I need opinions... FAST!

I totally agree, if you loose your local dealer, how far is your next Centurian Dealer? I have taken all my business to my local dealer, and will continue to do so. Good people, and decent prices. heres a plug for MOSSDALE Boats in Lathrop Ca. All dealers are hurting it seems like if you do find a better price on the net, at least give your local guy a shot at matching it. Ken
  15. Pulled it out today, cleaned it up a bit,,,,,,70 degrees here, lots of sun, gonna go for it tomorrow! First run of 2009!!!!!
