  1. I don't know what they clipped the bike lock with - it is at least 3/8" thick... I have filed a police report and tipped re trailer in yard - the sticker had VIN tore off but I know the trailer makers weld one on too - I will leave that for the RCMP to track down -hoping they cantrack the thieves down!
  2. i tried to find an aftermarket trailer supplier (keep $ down) and they all recommend I stick with the OEM... I highly recommend the *#@#*&% toenail that stole mine put it back, and get their own trailer repaired - I would gladly pay his bill for him!
  3. it looks like I see why my trailer was stolen - there appears to be an abandoned 2005 Centurion trailer with a bad bearing and bent axle in the lot adjacent to mine... unfortunately it looks to be another Centurion boat owner that has shafted me - and of course the replacement cost on the trailer is well exceeding the cost of my insurance...
  4. I had 2 locks on the trailer = simple padlock on the tongue, and a good titanium bike lock through the hole for the swing away hitch - and it was in a boat yard that is locked at night... The insurance company is good - they are paying for the trailer and incidentals to have the boat pulled out of the lake and stored until a trailer can arrive. I am a little worried about the dealer though - he has asked for full payment for the trailer upon order. This year I have had a wakeboard stolen, the trailer stolen and also had the Centurion emblem on the side of the boat destroyed. I guess I am feeling a little bitten, but it doesn't quite seem right to pay all the cash up front, I would expect a healthy deposit would be adequate???
  5. My 2008 Centurion trailer for my Falcon V was stolen from the storage lot in Osoyoos, BC today. serial number 1vmbg222581033621 Please let me know if anyone see one of these pop up for sale in this area ... Insurance will cover but I am 1600 kms from home and don't know how quickly I can get a replacement...
  6. Vibration

Had the prop repaired and balanced - all is ell woth this.
  7. My 2008 falcon was doing the 2 beeps fromercury monitoing system. Beeps were 60 seconds apart - it was the low water flow sensor as well.
  8. Vibration

I had a closer look at the prop and low and behold a couple of dings on one blade - not sure where it came from but know the issue.
  9. Vibration

it is a v-drive yes - put in gear brifely probably not a full second standard prop with no ballast on it does not feel quite like a cavitation but almost
  10. I need a little guidance on a vibration problem. When I acclerate from a stop I get a brief vibration (1/2 a second). You can really feel the vibration in the steering wheel - almost like a chatter. Any help to point me in the correct direction would be appreciated.
  11. The horn on my 2008 Falcon V has quit working - the fuse is good and wires into the switch are good - does anyone know the location of the horn on these - I assume it is in the drivers footwell but thought I would check before starting to tear panels apart. Thanks in advance
  12. absolutely all manufacturers have there issues. Also difficult when you are actually assembling/selling third party parts (eninges/towers/controls) etc. but still need to ensure they take care of their customers if they want repeat business... But, also believe it is reasonable to assume Centurion steps up and ensures parts are made available to replace failed parts (would mean they have 'X' number of parts machined, and beefed up where they are failing).
  13. painting a boat

who is a good supplier of wraps (bonus if they have done for centurion boats)
  14. it is frustrating that there is such little support from Centurion - great boats - but those are the types of things that make Mastercraft, Malibu, Tige and others look so appealing. It would be fantastic to get some dealer support and in this case manufacturer support. Know they just purchase the towers from a third party, but way too easy for Fineline to be the victim - if they want repeat customers would expect they work with a supplier to properly engineered parts to replace the failed components - I don't think most would mind paying for them - ultimately looks like people will end up having to replace the whole tower or having parts machined... I was thinking of trading my Falcon in for a Enzo - this makes me rethink that and look at the X2!
