  1. I have two batteries in my ride, and they are 2 years old. I got them new with my boat. I am about to pull my 230 Enzo out of storage and have them checked, but I am thinking of getting at least one new one. What do you recommend? I don't ever want to be out of juice after playing on the lake all day and listening to tunes in a cove. Thanks.
  2. Anyone in the Georgia area

Boy, it is good to be in GA. Everyone I talk to is still freezing and months away from boating. I have a 230 Enzo, and I am at Lanier most weekends. We are on the same program. Play in the Am and raft up at Cocktail cove in the PM. This weekend we are de-winterizing, oil change, wax and setting up for the season. See you all out there.
  3. Gas treatment after winter storage

Thanks, we are lucky our lake gas has no ethanol. Would you pour this all in the tank at once or over your first couple of fills? I looked up seafoam, and they talked about a more complicated procedure than just pouring it in the tank.
  4. I have a new 2010 230 Enzo and this is my first season taking it out of storage. It has been de-winterized, and I did an oil and filter change. We had 80 hours after last year, I thought it easiest to get on the schedule of changing the oil every spring. My question is -- If I have had half a tank or so of gas in the boat over the winter, would you put a gas treatment in the tank for the start of the season? Any thoughts on this or other maintenance to do at the beginning of the season to keep the boat running well all summer. Thanks.
  5. Centurion Trailer Guide Pole Covers

I am in for a set. Great Job!
  6. gladiator tower

I have the same Enzo. and tower. I was thinking of using the very nice mirror they sent me with the boat and attaching it in some way to the bimini instead of the tower. The shim that came with the mirror is too big and when you use it without a shim that is plastic the mirror can't clamp down on the bimini's bar. As I use my cover after every use, I don't want somthing on the windshield as I will have to take it off everytime I put the boat away. Any ideas are welcome. I made it work this season, but I would like to have somthing in the future. Thanks.
  7. Possibly Good News!

Sorry Doc, I hope I get a bye on the "mark". I was writting my response before I saw yours. Ditto on the "free ride", if someone asked me for one that is what I would think they wanted....
  8. Possibly Good News!

I have kept quiet through most of this 40 page and almost 800 post string, but the test driving is way over rated. I started my search in the Oct 2009 and bought a 230 enzo never having test driven a Centurion much less an Enzo in Dec 2009. I looked at the 3 major brands of high end inboard wake/surf boats. I went to boat shows, dealers, friends and people who became firends learning about what makes each MFR different. It is all about the way it is made, how it has been taken care of (in-doors or out), and the many, many other items you should have on a checklist. I bought in 3 months and didn't get to drive it because of the winter months for 3 more months. yes, it was the longest winter of my life. I "test drove it" the first day I put the key in the ignition, and I could not be happier. I put on 35hours already, and I would tell everyone Centurion is the BEST! I am new at this, but make sure what you are buying has your have2haves and is in your budget making a test drive the final step. Well, I have enjoyed the string and hope to see PO and his new ride on the lake soon. Go PO!!!
  9. We are going to install an I pod connector this week that will recharge the unit as well as allow the MBquart (WRC - S1) radio controller to work. It did not come installed on my new boat from the factory. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to have this finshed off as it comes out of the back of the reciever, through the back of the dash , and hooks up to the Ipod in the glove box? I am thinking of a white collar or "o"ring on each side of the fiberglass, but could find anything at home depot. Can anyone send pics of their set up or ideas?
  10. how much time have you spent

We are at 33 hrs so far with a new '10 enzo 230 and bad weather most weekends. But, we are committed to many hours and much fun this season!
  11. Mirror for Gladiator Tower

Thanks Troy, my bad -- great point. The gadiator tower sits so far back behind the driver that I think the mirror would be in your face when standing up and driving -- my normal MO. I think the Bimini looks like the best bet as mine always stays up, but I just wanted to ask the Crew what someone else might have thought up. Thanks.
  12. Mirror for Gladiator Tower

My 230 Enzo came with a mirror, but it doesn't fit. I can't find a place for it on the tower. I put my cover on every night so I don't want it on the windshield, and it won't fit on the leading edge of the Bimini. The bracket is just a little too small with the plastic shim it came with and too big without it. What is anyone using?
  13. Babes in bikinis!

WOW!!! Looks like a party that should not be missed. You are the MAN. It is nice to see what goes on inside those big raft parties. I will certainly keep a look out. ENJOY!!!
