  1. Too bad i cheaped out and didn't get a spare. Thought i would save money, 200 dollars later, and the bracket to mount is missing pieces. Spare is in pickup bed currently. Lesson learned. The bed liner on the trailer is awesome. Doesn't show wear or dirt. The black hull on the other hand was a poor choice, I should have got white. The black is all scratched from the carpet and showing white under it.
  2. Most were able to surf this weekend. Settings, all ballast full, trim 0 to 30, surf tab 60 to 70, 200 lead each rear corner, 200 lead moved back and for to surf side in rear corner on floor. Speed 9.9 to 11.7, will explain. 4 to 8 people on boat, most on surf side, a couple up front to lengthen wave. Wave had the most push so far out of all settings ive tried. I threw the rope in the first 10 seconds and surfed a good couple minutes. With 8 in the boat, the wave had about 8 inches of curl, first time curl has showed itself. With 4 in boat, no more curl, wave much less impressive, push still ok, but not near as good. Speed, first day, no wind, smooth water, average speeds, 10.9 to 11.3 up the lake, 9.9 down the lake. Turns out, now that im watching the wave like a hawk, im seeing speeds change drastically with water current speed and tail/head wind. So, the speed must not be gps driven, im sure you all know this. Today, wind and chop. I was able to keep the wave looking good, but was constantly adjusting speed, trim, and even surf tabs while towing to keep a good wave. When im surfing, not so much the case, i need to teach my wife more, now that ive half way figured the settings out. So i was able to surf this morning when it was smooth, but the wife cant screw with settings while im surfing in wind, chop, and current. I gave up early, very frustrating. Are most of you experiencing so many variable? This is why a G23 is sounding appealing, push button, settings saved, go surf. I have not ridden a G though, so not sure if it actually works or not. Either way, my demo board is great, the Ronix Koal sux. A buddy came out that is really good and also didn't like the Ronix, couldnt stay in the wave. So, wave still not 100%, and or board is not good for 200lb plus. Wife likes the foamie, but surfed demo board as well, does well on both.
  3. Sounds good. I'll give it a try sometime. So far every one is just surfing.
  4. Wow, that is incredible. Do you know what the settings were?
  5. 1000 RPMS?!!! Wow, that is one heck of a jump. Didn't realize there was that much room for improvement....
  6. Wow, that is quite the rats nest. I haven't looked up under my dash, I was expecting a little more organization and forethought from Supreme. Im glad you found it and posted, this will be great help in the future. Thanks a bunch.
  7. Central Oregon. No dice on a G23, all sold out and about 25 k out of my range. The ri257 is in the high end of my budget, but im just not sure at this point. Got a demo board from Wakemakers, liquid force dart, 5'3".
  8. Check out the curl on the ri257, that is incredible, different class of boat. Just ran a payment calculator, and wow, thats a big increase, but so is the wave....
  9. ...and my temp is 10 degrees or so off. Dealer says supreme is supposed to have a software update for some of these issues, but it has been a long time coming.
  10. By chance have you surf led the 238? Just looking for a comparison to what I have now. Im thinking I need to demo some different boats. Anyone surf a GS22?
  11. ...and your the mb dealer? That is what I wanted originally but couldn't make myself buy from the other mb dealer in town. I may be in contact. Thanks.
  12. No bimini, U wasnt impressed with it, so I dont have one, one of the worst ive seen. Ill try your suggestions on the brake. Happy surfing.
  13. I will do this...so long as Jack doesn't sell me a G23 tomorrow.
  14. Good intel. Will use this weekend. For boards I need them out of the way, too many people on the boat.
  15. Hello new guy here

These boats are heavy. I think a gasser up and down steep switch backs would give up the ghost, even my Cummins has to work for it. Usually all the fans come on and the temps start rising. Alot of 1st gear even. Like i said though, steep. I weighed my boat and trailer, somewhere around 8k plus or minus. Not huge, but enough to know its there.
  16. Hello new guy here

How slow have you got the wake to clean up and at what settings? I run no pnp for wakeboarding and tried moving lead up front and midship. Even tried no weight in any tanks. Going to price out an 18 G23 tomorrow, just not quite there with this boat. Maybe it will grow on me but so far, not so much.
  17. Hello new guy here

15 on a bad day. Our lake is waaay down, and waaay back up. Lots of hills and corners. 15 pulling. I also am not patient with a trailer, its mashed most of the time.
  18. Hello new guy here

Good luck with the wakeboard wake. I cant clean mine up less than 22 mph. Going to trade my wakeboards for surfboards until I can afford a boat that will do both. Perhaps you will have better luck dialing your wakeboard wake in, or like it at the higher speeds, in which case you are golden. For the surf wake, check out my thread, alot of folks are helping me, and since you have the same boat, it will be the same for you, except ballast...did you upgrade and/or add lead?
  19. Does anyone have surf board racks on their new style tower? My boards are getting ruined with storing one on the floor and the Ronix getting squeezed too hard in the wake board rack.
  20. I have started riding way farther forward. On my Ronix I shoot down the wave fast and then have to brake, but then loose all momentum. Combination of wave not being right and me I'm sure.
  21. Drop stinger plate to 5? This mean 25? Retweak port side quicksurf, got it. Do you ever use both quick tabs or is the opposite always at zero? The curl, between the clean center line and the white wash? Reason I ask is the smaller regular surfing folks, I changed the wave to not be so clean and have more wash and they were able to surf for a bit. The Odysea board is a keeper. Its foam, so durable. Its slow, but this allows for easy adjustments and good recovery without falling. I now know i need a 5'6" board but faster, same shape. the Ronix koal is way faster, but seems not boyant enough for my skillset as of now. The Odysea, while standing on the front tip past the grip, i was able to surf for small periods of time, but too slow to recover.
  22. 11.1, center trim (stinger?) 20, quick surf 60.
  23. Not that ive found. Poor wakeboard wave so far. Not sure what Im missing. At 22.5 mine cleans up pretty good, but not great, way too fast for my liking and not near as clean as I would like.
  24. Hour meter

Its under the settings screen towards the bottom IIRC.
