Issues starting after it has ran for awhile
kmoney replied to Gollas108's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
this has happened to my T5 a few times after anchoring in the bay for a few hours. i did the same as you a few times neutral start with quick throttle. one or two times i messed with the kill switch and that seemed to work also..... annoying problem when you want to get back to the dock -

Floor Locker Full Of Dirty Water
kmoney replied to kmoney's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
no it doesnt. it seems to me the locker actually sits lower than the engine compartment/bilge so the water pools there -

2004 Centurion T-5. I have had this problem since I got it. The floor locker fills up with water, sometimes oily nasty bilge water and it smells like straight up puke. I have to manually scoop it out. Can't be the only one with this problem. How do i fix? -

Floor Locker Pink
kmoney replied to kmoney's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
the core is under the observers seat. wouldnt it be wet in there if the core was cracked? its not wet in there, just in the floor locker -
After winterizing for the second year in a row ive had the pink antifreeze somehow get into my front locker even though drain plugs are out, none was spilled, and boat is on trailer in garage not moving. this leads me to think i have a split in one of the water lines to the heater. During the summer the locker always has water in it, I used to think it was rain water but not anymore. Anyone have similar problems?

Perfect Pass Help
kmoney replied to desotodave's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
do any of the buttons work on the display at all? if not, we have the same problem. display comes up but PP will not turn on and take over. looked up trouble shooting online and it says 'send back to company for repair.' since they are out of country the shipping costs more than the repair and it takes up to 3 weeks to get it back unless you spend even MORE for fast shipping. -
I need a replacement bungee for one of my board racks. The racks came standard on the boat but Im not sure what brand they are. They are the ones with the real sharp corners on the inside of the boat when you put the bungee around the boards. Boat is a 2004 T-5. Any help would be great

velvet transmission
kmoney replied to gap's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
i am having similar problems with my boat. the slipping is occuring more and more frequently. it used to only happen going from reverse back into drive but now it happens most often going from neutral to drive. i know exactly the slip you are talking about the engine winds up and the result is a jerky motion and a clunk into gear. ive heard other stories about the T-5 having extreme transmission pressure buildup resulting in fluid blow out. I was hoping my problem was a shift lever but the more we mess with it the worse off it seems to get... i bet this was a manufacturer problem but now these boats are well out of warranty. no clue what a rebuild would cost but if you find out post it. -
the speedo is off on all these boats we run 27-28 for the average rider and 31 for the better riders, going by perfect pass digital speed display. even perfect pass shows way faster than actual value. you should have a great wake at higher speeds and manual plate run it all the way up for wakeboarding

Porpoising 1996 Sport Bowrider...HELP!
kmoney replied to 96cent's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
put a couple sandbags up front, under where you put your anchor. put them in garbage bags first so if they split they wont leak all over the boat. no more bounce -
ski safe -- boat/trailer : $246 but my boat is lower end then most of you surfers
