We just keep an "office" plastic trash can in it and use it for trash. Easy to empty quickly. I'd be interested in better ideas though. We use a soft Yeti cooler on board for drinks and stuff.

Clearly there needs to be a slight detour and an overnight stay at Antelope Marina Lake Powell!!! I got your back hombre.

Nice video, wave looks great! When were you there? We were in warm creek bay Oct 10th thru the 16th, same weather for us.
Awesome, we were there the next week, 19 - 24th.

It's been a crazy summer / year! Haven't been on here as much as I would like.
Got to sneak in a late fall trip to Powell. Crazy good weather! 75-80 degrees, no wind, water was 71.
My oldest daughter put together a quick video including Eric and Ariel wedding at the end
Also a few cameos from Audrey Kate, "AK", my first grand kid, making her first trip to Powell.

No issues on my 2007 which came with the SB but I generally remove the blade when I travel to and fro the lake, about 20 miles. Really easy to take on and off.

Sorry guys I meant that to be completely sarcastic!
(I said that because it was an example of something hat would NEVER fly because it is the whole point of a return system at all, for when stuff doesn't work)
I got that on the first read, thought it was funny!

Only thing wrong with that wave is the side it's on! nice vid
We set up on the other side once, definitely not as clean

Daughter created a new video from our fall trip. This is the second week of October at Powell. Water was 74, air was 75-80 with a few sprinkles here and there. Wife drops two 360s in the same run at the end.
Good Times!

Good God! Does that thing have a helicopter landing pad too?? It's a yacht!!
Whatever it does have 5 bedrooms, one of which has a kid cuddy room attached with a king size pad, plus there's an open air king size bed up top.

It actually isn't that expensive if we find enough members with access to houseboats. For an extended weekend, maybe 4 days, to use my houseboat it would cost around $2K with turnaround fees and houseboat gas. If we only have 15 people on it, it would only be around $140 each, plus food, drink, and surf boat gas costs.
If we could get at least 3 other houseboats, I'd push to make it happen with my boat, it has 6 queen size beds and several mats on top. We could take over the entire beach on the West side of Gunsite for a few days.

I'm in too, as long as it's not in the last 3 weeks of April as I will be in Parker / Havasu
I bet we could pull it off, maybe second week of October? Most "timeshares" on Lake Powell houseboats are wide open to use in October during the "off season". If we could get maybe 4 houseboats out of Page, Wahweap or Antelope, we could get 50-70 people, maybe more depending how intimate we want things We had 25 on our houseboat a few weeks ago
We've been there during October the last 4 years, water is usually 75, air is 75-80. Fishing is phenomenal. Occasionally get a day of rain but not much.

I can check the clearance on my garage but I'm pretty sure it is a standard 8 foot garage. I drop the Evo tower on my 07 Enzo 240 and have no problems putting it into the garage (I have a deep garage).

The bolts might be loose as they were on our '08 SV230. You could loosen them a bit more, put some sealant under the heads and then tighten them. Grease the rudder pivot while you are in there.
I like it, seems like the simplest approach. Thanks
-
So I have a leak, water coming in through the bolts on my rudder.
I'm going to dig in there a little and reseal it but does anyone know if there is an actual rubber seal between the rudder housing and hull or do you just apply some 5200 sealant. I haven't gone in there and investigated yet. I thought I would check in case anyone else had had a similar issue.

I feel for the cost difference the value isn't there, My Enzo wave is ridiculous but its also Slammed just as low as the Avy wave of the same level. Enzo wave is a little longer, your definitely riding deeper to get to the clean setion, not really a bad thing but the lip is a little less defined and closer to the transom it mushes out. the Avy wave tends to be steeper, cleaner close in and the "push" is present a little earlier in the wave. I feel like airs on an Avy wave are primo about 2 ft off the swim deck the enzo... 5 to 6ft back... its all how you slice it I guess I just don't see dumping the extra cash and still having to invest in a lot of upgrades to realize full potential on the enzo...
I ride my Enzo and BigCat's Avy regularly (and regular for that matter), I agree the waves are different but I enjoy surfing both and I get air on both. I haven't noticed a significant difference in push but the Enzo wave definitely curves out away from the boat farther and has a softer transition on top. I don't think the decision is really based on the wave so much as how many people, how much cash, and resale. I bought my 07 in 2010 for $46K (end of season, great deal). I'm pretty confident I've only lost 10 -15 percent of the value in 5 years. It sounds like small crew and selling the wife on the investment may be a little tricky. If that's the case the Avy is the right boat, a great boat! We almost always have a second family with us and having the extra space (in my 240) is an absolute must.
Both boats will be great! Good luck!

coming from an enzo owner, save the cash buy the avy...
Why? Two years newer, more room, and sick wave - the boat used for Wakesurf championships, I'd go Enzo if you can afford it. I suggest the Enzo will hold its value longer. That Avy looks dated, like a generation older with the tower. How many do you expect to have in your crew?
Goofy or regular?

Love this event! Wish I could be there this year, next year hopefully!!

Heres an electric version for a 4th of the price lol
I think I like the electric versoin better, seems a little more like surfing and less like jet skiing.

Welcome AJ, what's your location?

Despite the note on the bottom of the board, the boat is still leaning the right direction!

I have an 07 Sv240 as well, I'd be interested in the actuators. Always good to have a couple on the shelf, in case one freezes up. I'm in Utah.
