Just picked up a new 2014 SS210 and could not be happier. Was looking at spending around 40k for a used Centurion but deal was way to good to pass for the new 2014 with the 5 year warranty. Even after speaking with multiple Centurion dealers the logic was these boats will only be going up in price as Centurion looks to differentiate further and further from the Supreme. Rumor is Centurion will be going higher in price and Supreme may actually be going even lower soon to make the market differences even more defined. The finishes, the loaded tower and incredible stereo and speaker system, the touch screen, the multiple loaded ballasts just so much more boat than I ever dreamed of and I felt like I was very lucky to grab a Centurion before I was priced out myself.

I can't thank you guys enough I reached out to Steven at Cal Marine Sport and he had a Blue Lake that he sold to me for a great deal and they're dropping it off for me in town tomorrow. I spoke with him about the Tako and Victoria's as well and I would probably do better in the long run as a progression with the Tako just for me but I want a board that everybody can ride on, even my brother who is about 225 and everyone is just going to be learning to ride as well I. So the blue Lake is the perfect board I think and then I'll grab another one shortly for myself. Thanks again awesome forum!

Thanks Surf Moocher! I'm from Danville Ca and we will be taking the boat up NE a couple hours to a place called Jenkinson Lake (Sly Park Lake) in Placerville whenever we can. But I am willing to buy the board from anyone anywhere and pay for the shipping. Really leaning towards the IS Blue Lake I could always just pick up a Tako but I think the Blue Lake would work best for the most people. Thanks again for the welcome.

New to the sport and looking for my first board for my new 14 SS210. Thanks, AJ

Looking at picking up my first new boat and I'm getting lots of different answers on the how much ballast these come with (I have been told between 3000 and 4000 pounds total) and how many tanks or bags. The build sheet on the boat says that there is the Centurion pro ballast package which includes dual midside bags and it also includes the Centurion plug and play rear surf ballast with two bags. If I am counting not right that is a total of four bags but I also heard that there are tanks near or underneath the driver totaling six? And whenever I look on videos online and see the computer screen to the right it looks like there should be six total instead of four. Any guidance would be awesome I tried calling century in and the woman I spoke with said that there were four total and it was 3000 pounds. I just want to make sure that that is right and that nothing was messed with in the boat before I pick it up. Thanks so much!
