Nate- I was the one who weighted that for a night shoot. It was the QFB+ The mid ship port side. We had 2 88lb tractor weights in teh rear port locker and a 400lbs sack plus people. You could of added more weight but it didn't need any at all.

I will be at Marrietta Marine This friday evening for a BBQ and then I will be doing a wakesurf Clinic on Saturday. Also Avy's are GREAT boats. That is all I have ever owned up until this past year. They have a great wakesurfing wake and a nice steep wakeboard/skate wake.

He uses a pink rope to rub into all Wimps that think it is still to cold!!!!!!

Where are you ordering the board from? Just tell them you want the standard Scamp Fin that comes with it and you also want to order the Oogle 2" Fin

The other problem with a Tri Fin Scamp is it creates alot fo drag on such a small board. The 2" fin is good. With 3 fins it is alot slower so instead of learning how to stand and move tehre weight to ride the little guys have to try and keep up with the boat. This is why we have kept it as a single fin. But again the 2" fin will make a big difference.

Freds Marine has 1 for Demo and I know that M&M Watersports/ Boardco.com have some for sale/demo. They are also in Utah. The difference in the XXL DD and the Trident. The DD is a 1" core and the tRident is a 3/4" core. However the DD is the Drew shape just blown up some. The trident was designed justf ro big riders. 3/4" in core keeps it easy to use the rail on edge. 60" lentgh but a really wide belly and tail so you have alot mroe planing surface. At 285 I think you will like the Trident alot better. The Trident or the XXL will work for you i just like the thinner profile of the 3/4 core. Unfortanatly right now I do not have either that I can sell. Sorry. Check M&M Watersports they have them in stock!

Also take into consideration the wheelbase length. I went from my Silverado to a Nissan Pathfinder. Teh pathfinder actually puleld my enzo very well with little problems. However with the narrower wheel base if i shook the steering wheel a little bit I could really feel the backend of the nissan being pulled around. Great for a quick trip to the lake but I would never use it on a highway at fast speeds. Just my 2 cents.

The trident was designed to be a high performance board for big guys. It is a big wide board with 3 fin options. Traditional surf style 3 fin. Rides very surfy and sticks to the wave. Twin fin (2 side fines only) Still alot of grip but alot more pivot in the turns. Or as a real skim with 1 fin. Will perform like all of our boards Very fast Loose and will spin like crazy. It comes with 3 Phase 5 1" fins. No need to put big 3"fins they create drag. As for 3 fins on teh scamp that would be way to much drag for a board that small. I have taken one to clinics all over the US and have not had a problem teaching little guys to ride it. Most of the are so light they don't have the weight to lean the board on rail anyways. I have had a few people but teh 2" oogle fin in them and it made it a little more stiiffer but not a big difference. Hope this helps. Like I said all the little guys I have taught in the last 3 years loved the scamp and didn't have any issues. Not that it would be crazy to do just would be alot of drag on such a small board.

The boat was bought from Transition and now is in Naples florida. I have spoke with the woman who owns it about going down and riding with her but schedules haven't worked out. I would say it is a pretty safe bet the boat is Immaculate. I can pass the word on to her that you are interested if need be.

Ok So I have been fortunate enough to be involved with this super cool project. It is called The School of .. I was on the The School of Wake. This is taking instructionals to a whole new level. You go on to Itunes. Download my whoel set for like $3 or $4 dollars. It will give you instructions from Setting your boat up, to finding the sweet spot all the way to big spins and 3 shuvs. You download it to your Iphone, Ipod, Ipad whatever you have and then just take it with you. So while your out riding and trying these tricks yo can have the instructions right there with video and everything. If your not a wakesurfer they have wakeboarding and wakeskating as well. If we like what we see we will get in touch with you and get you set up as a PHASE 5 Team rider. The earlier the better because we are about to launch the new website and it is SICK!!!!!!!!!

If you can load stuff from Itunes on to it then it will work I believe. I have droid and will be downloading it when I get home so I will let you know.
