Here is some great advice for launching that I have used for years with all of my boats. Just let out a couple feet of slack from the winch before you back down the ramp (as long as you are working with a skid trailer, don't do this with a roller trailer). Once you get the boat in the water just hit the brakes, it will slide off the trailer and be waiting for you to unhook and go. Works like a charm.

Hello - I am struggling with a decision around a new cover for my '97 Elite-V Bowrider. I spoke with Cory at Evolution which sounds like my best choice but he doesn't have the pattern for my boat. After looking around online SkiBoatCovers.com seems like a reasonable choice but they do use 3 puddle poles with a cinch at the back. A local cover maker actually wanted to attach snaps to my boat which is just not happening. I know I want Sunbrella, something without poles seems ideal but I have heard varying opinions after calling a couple places. Appreciate your thoughts and reccomendations! Thanks, Dave Boston, MA

Hello - I have a 97 Elite-V Bowrider that I picked up last Summer. It only has 200 hours on it and it has been a great addition. I am trying to locate someone in the Seattle/Everett/Washington area with a similar boat. From what I have seen online it appears that boats made from 96-00 have the same hull.
